I don’t know if they were racially discriminating me and just automatically added the tip, but I got these short nails and they charged me $66. I’m not a confrontational person so I didn’t say anything at the time but after talking to several people they told me I got ripped off and I just called this salon 5 minutes ago to ask for prices and the lady on the phone said it depends on the length and starting from shortest its gonna be $40. I came to this salon with my friend for the first time (my friend who is white has been here multiple times) and my friend got a very elaborate set with designs and hers was way longer yet she was charged the same prices as me. If you’re a black woman, I wouldn’t recommend coming here. I’m usually the type to tip people in customer service but I put my cash tip back in my bag real quick when I seen what they were charging me for.

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueThe first pictures are when I first got them done, I was told my appt was at a certain time when I got there I had to wait at least 15 min. The woman who did my nails did not trim my nails down, the only reason I didn’t say anything is because I knew I had cut them recently and thought maybe they were super short still so it was fine.. anyway I was told it would be $40 but she charged me $50 and I tipped her $10 so overall it was $60. I hope she didn’t pocket that extra 10 because I didn’t realize until the next day at work that she left gaps between the acrylics and my natural nails AND the cut she gave me left my finger swollen. I do hair and have a cosmetology license so I know it’s not sanitary. Anyway when I called to complain someone offered to fix them and I said I was going to get my vaccine and that I would call back (I should have called back sooner or went back sooner but I work in LA county so I never have time) I made an appt and the lady who did my nails just gave me a fill, she said she would fix my nails for me and she kinda got rid of the gap between the nails but she put nail glue at the end and they just look so bad. My fingers have small cuts all over and I still paid for that fill. They asked me to pay because I waited so long.. I know it’s not their problem that I don’t have the time but why is it my fault that they messed up my nails and I have to make time for it? I’m just super disappointed and as someone with a cosmetology license I know this isn’t state board appropriate and it’s definitely unprofessional. Never going back and it’s a shame because I live so close.Service: Acrylic nailsThe first pictures are when I first got them done, I was told my appt was at a certain time when I got there I had to wait at least 15 min. This is a new nail salon that recently opened. I know once people get the news that they do an amazing job it will start getting busier. My dip nails came out very cute and the nail tech took her time. She made sure that I was satisfied before she moved forward. It was a lengthy process due to the nail art. Overall I appreciated my experience. Thank you Red Persimmon

STAY AWAY! First off I was trying this place as a new customer, secondly when getting my pedicure service the water was cold and had to tell her to make it warm. While getting a pedicure the nail file was used and not new I’ve been to other places where they use new ones that come from a closed bag and have no white residue on them. Lastly I didn’t notice until the end the color of my toes was wrong I choose a lilac purple and she gave me a dark purple! I say stay away due to Unhygienic business and lack of integrity.

I really like my dip manicure that I got. My pedi was also great; it was meticulous and came with a long massage. I would definitely recommend.
