The nail technician started off by I cleaning my nails. A part of my nail broke off and he proceeded to glue it back to my nail. He then applied a cat eye gel nail polish which is $10 more than regular gel polish. He spread the color unevenly. This caused the nail polish to appear see through in certain spots and the color to be fine in other parts of the nails.

My favorite nail salon. I usually go to nail salons and feel anxious about the quality of work and If I’m going to like the end result I’m paying for. This is the only place I’ve found that doesn’t make me feel that way! They work with you to make sure you’re happy and are quick. They also give a complimentary little massage if you opt for it at the end. I drive 40 minutes away to come here and leave happy every time!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueYes, 10 months ago when they first opened, they were very much on point with cleanliness, temp check, sanitizing, etc. They do offer many wonderful services, however, as others have commented, there is a great lack of quality in the service they provide. My first service, a week after they opened, was a pedicure. The woman didn’t clean under my toe nails….is that not part of any pedicure? I asked if she well clean under the toes, she acted as though she didn’t hear me, understood, or could care less. I guess she was upset that I hadn’t chosen one of the fancy overpriced pedicure and opted for a regular pedicure — which I’m sure cleaning under the toe should be included. What made things worse, is my toes looked as though a toddler polished them. She spent more time cleaning nail polish from around the nails than polishing them. I let her finish than quietly asked to speak to a manager. A woman came over I explained what happened, showed her my toes, and she said “I don’t see anything. It looks good”. I was shocked, but at that moment I realized she was going to stand by her employee. I’d just lost my dad and was not in the mood to argue; (as a matter of fact I booked the appointment because I was depressed and wanted to do something to lift my spirits). Well this negative experience only made me feel worse. Clearly this woman, who I believe was the owner, knew absolutely nothing about customer service. Would you believe she had the audacity to ask if I wanted to buy into their frequent user/visit program?? At any rate, that was my 1st and last visit to this nail salon. (BTW, my toes chipped 2 days later!!). Suggestion: STAY AWAY, SAVE YOUR TIME, MONEY AND SELF RESPECT!! All they care about is getting your money….nothing else. Definitely not worth it!! Clean! Hands down one of the cleanest nail salons I’ve ever been to. I’ve been there twice and had two different nails techs and both did and amazing job. My appointment started right on time and sanitation was on point, temp check and everything. I’m a hairdresser and have yet to have a gel mani last more than a week and this time is last a full 2 weeks. I’m impressed, highly recommend!

Where do I even start? I wanted to keep this short and sweet, but I won’t. I’ll start by saying, Hannah was doing my nails here since day 1– she is absolutely INCREDIBLE, so sweet, and so great at her craft. I genuinely hope she found a better salon to work at. Unfortunately, I had to stop coming to this salon due to their absolutely ignorant and EXTREMELY rude owner. I was a customer for all of last year, I came every 2-3 weeks, and genuinely enjoyed the place. I brought them tons of business too since I had recommended MANY friends and family members to go there. But that all changed one day. I won’t get too detailed but, my mom ended up waiting an HOUR AND HALF past her appointment time with my DISABLED grandmother (mind you, her appointment was at 5:30, they got there by 5/5:15, and my mother wasn’t seen until 7, which is LITERALLY their closing time. They had to rush through her appointment. When I confronted the owner, multiple times, she kept telling my mom “5 more minutes” 5 minutes turned into 30 min, then 45, 1 hour, etc. You get the point. We had a flight scheduled for later that night. This was the only time my mom could come get her nails done as she works 7 days a week. After getting extremely angry and demanding my mother be seen, I asked the owner to speak in private about this situation, which she refused (red flag— SO unprofessional). She wouldn’t get out of her seat! She made us talk in public, around all of the customers, which I REFUSED to do. If I have a problem with YOUR business, you should be professional and talk to me in a serious manner, in private, if I ask you to. Long story short, she is nasty. An absolutely disgusting “business woman” and is unworthy of your business. Please don’t waste your money here. Most of the employees are great and innocent. But the owner is a DEVIL. She doesn’t care about her clients, only their money. I’ve gone to many nail salons in my life, I have never been treated so poorly. Her employees even complained about her, lol. Now I’ve found an incredible spa in Lexington that actually cares for her clients, is SUFFICIENT with time, and does excellent work, and doesn’t sit on her butt all day like this owner!

I’ve been to a numerous amount of nail salons in various cities & towns and I can confidently & undoubtedly say that Red Nails is THE BEST. I am outrageously picky & critical of my nails on every level but Red Nails has never disappointed me or let me down & I’ve been going there every month for almost two years now. It is so spacious, well-lit, & they always play interesting & entertaining content from Netflix on their large TV’s which is in the center of everything. They are well-staffed, I have never been told to wait and they can always squeeze me in even at the latest minute. The staff is so detailed & really focuses on you. They will do whatever shape you ask of them & as for designs & whatnot, they go above & beyond – especially with a reference photo! Most techs get annoyed if you change something last minute, but not them, they do it without hesitation. If you like precision and perfection in terms of your nails & toes – this is your place!

There’s a non friendly male staff there who demanded me to pay more than 10 dollars in tip and he wouldn’t take what I had…he wasn’t the staff that had done a great job on me. I had paid a bill of more than 110 and I had no more money left. I tried to explain to him but he wouldn’t listen. Matters worse he was telling me all that loudly..maybe to embarrass me. I never went back. A tip is a token of appreciation but that kind of entitlement to it is wrong.

Second I was given a choice of pedicures with no pressure to upgrade. I chose a reflexology package .. and Young gave me the best reflexology treatment I have ever had. He is strong and makes sure every party your foot and leg is worked on. The result is a relaxation I have not had in years!! And then HOT stones!!! Thank you Young for your time and attention!!! Critical: QualityReally expensive for poor quality. My nails broke the next day, even though my nails normally stay for 2 weeks at least. They charge $10 to fix 3 nails and $15 for 4??? They upcharge everything for such poor quality service. Went to Olivia and my nails chipped within 2 weeks. Don’t recommend.
