The Red Hots Spa was superb! Joann is the ultimate professional – her knowledge, experience and technique with hair is extraordinary and her ability to put her clients at ease before a big event is masterful. From start to finish, she got to know my hair (and me!), working her magic to get me ready for our son’s rehearsal dinner and wedding. She brought in Cindy who did a beautiful job with a very natural approach to make up. The whole spa staff team could not have been more welcoming, responsive and professional. As soon as I walk into this hotel I feel like I am on vacation. The staff in the spa is so welcoming. My facial and massage were amazing. The best part of the experience was booking and knowing that Josephine at the front desk with receptive to a deaf customer. This let me know that the spa was inclusive and accessible. I booked a body scrub and was expecting six-star service from a six-star hotel. This was not my first time ever getting a body scrub and I knew what to expect. However, the service was extremely poor. The individual providing the service barely scrubbed me at all! I thought a body scrub meant exactly that, A BODY scrub! Instead, just the outside of my arms, my upper back, the outside of my legs, and the soles of my feet were scrubbed and extremely lightly at that. It did not feel like a scrub to me at all or that I had been exfoliated very much. This service was over very quickly, and I felt completely unimpressed. I drove all the way from New Jersey expecting a much better experience and was highly disappointed. I would not recommend this spa to a friend. I also messaged the company privately about my experience before posting this on Google but did not hear back from them.

Diluted products, expiring products used on my skin, poorly treated staff, poorly trained management, very cheap business. Do not waste your money. There are plenty of spas in Long Island that are actually luxurious and actually give a great ambience, and that also don’t have massage therapist that feel you up.

I have been staying at the Garden City Hotel in NY. for yrs. I called the front desk at The Spa at Red Hots for appt the person that answered the phone was so rude! Joann that did my hair was the sweetest person i have met and did a fabulous job! When i come back i will always have her do my hair. I would only come back if Joann was here to do my hair.
