Before I start, I want to say that the lady who did my nails was thorough, precise, and did a great job overall. It’s quiet, and they don’t make much conversation, which is fine since I prefer that.

I’ve come to the salon two times. I really want to give them four stars but it’s very difficult. The first is that their prices are so much more higher than any of the other nail salons in our area. Please don’t get me wrong I can afford it with no problem but if I’m going to pay that price then I’m expecting the customer service to match. I find that these are probably the rudest nail techs that I have ever seen. Even when you call the person who answers the phone is very short and unenthusiastic about your call. Again, if you are the type of person who doesn’t mind being treated that way and pay more than you would any other place then this is the place for you. I am on the other hand expect that if I pay more I receive more. The nail tech I had today made my thumb cuticle bleed then he expected me to walk out with one of my nails poorly painted. His job overall was not that great. I will not be returning. I really can spend my money in another salon. I work too hard for it to give away to someone who does not respect me and I do not receive the value of what I paid for.

I’ve gone here a number of times and have always been satisfied with the quality and efficiency of their service. I would highly recommend a pedicure by Jason – as someone that’s pregnant I appreciate a good foot and leg massage these days and he really nailed it. He was also diligent about the painting so my toes look and feel great! Thanks, Jason!

Michael could not file my NATURAL nails in one direction only , instead of the back and forth filing that’s okay on false nails. And, popping the false nails off hurt. They should’ve been filed off – that would’ve left more of my natural nail surface intact. Last thing – the nail on my right ring finger had a greenish-brown patch on it after the false nails that I’d only worn for one month… they didn’t rub any oils into my nails, just left them dry and thin after the removal and that awful back and forth filing on my natural nails. Even though I told him that my nails would split off if he filed them like that.

3 weeks + 1 day ago I got a gel mani here and it’s still going strong! I’m pretty sure it will make it to 4 weeks. I know this place costs a bit more, but if my gel mani lasts almost a month it’s worth it.

Worst pedicure I have ever had… it must be new owners.. my person constantly spoke in her language to the employee next to her. She paid no attention to me and cut my toe. Couldn’t get it to stop bleeding. She left polish on my skin of my toes. She also didn’t paint the entire big toe left rough calluses on my feet. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEDICURE!! I was then Charged more than service requested! Place is filthy!! Staff rude!! I was chased down when I left for the toe dividers. Do they use them again. I will be very surprised if I dont get an infection when she cut my toe.

Too pricey!!!!! Wanted a shiny clear pink color and was told it was too light, i asked for a style and I asked how much was told acrylic and style instead was going to be $65 . I went to pay and total was $97 never again will I go there. If price is high they should state the new price before doing anything especially after being asked. Never happened anywhere else I’ve been.

Insanely overpriced. Told me callus remover would be $10 extra to the already high price for a basic pedicure. Barley any massage. Mediocre painting job. Won’t return. Much better service for lower prices all around Charlottesville.

Wonderful experience. I had a bad gel manicure done a few weeks back (he put gel polish on top of my old powder) and came in to get it fixed. The girls here were SO sweet and helpful. They spent so much time and effort getting the old stuff off my nails and didn’t complain once. I’ve never gotten such a perfect dip powder manicure. No joke. Perfect thickness, so shiny, even application, beautiful shape… looks like a regular polish application but it’ll last me for weeks.

Ok so the overall atmosphere is nice and the employees are friendly. I paid $96 for a basic pedicure and dip powder manicure with designs. For that price (plus tip) I had high expectations. The pedicure was amazing and one of the best I’ve had. The manicure was decent,and I initially really liked my nails. I gave the tech free reign as I wanted something different. My nails can be seen on their Instagram, they were gorgeous. Sadly they only looked that way for 2 days and then began to peel and chip, which for me is unusual for dip powder. I went back to the salon as they guarentee your nails for two weeks if they mess up. They were very agreeable and fixed my nails for free. Again, the nails did not last but a few days. Overall I had the nails done twice in less than 2 weeks, and then because of how bad they looked just got them done somewhere else. $96 for not even 2 weeks.
