Today, I had my very first facial given to me by Big Mike. It was an AMAZING experience !! Big Mike started off with an astringent for sensitive skin, he cleaned my face twice and he got into ALLLLLLLLL of the cracks and crevices. Then he used The Monat skincare line for the facial. The “Be Gentle Creamy Cleanser” was used, then a “Berry Refined Scrub” was used and y’all it has the little seeds that are found in berries in there and it smells oh so berrylicious. Big Mike gentle massaged my face until those seeds became soft, then he gentle wiped away the scrub, yes he got all of those seeds off of my face. Lastly, he gently applied the “Be Gentle Nourishing Moisturizer” and you only need a little bit and he worked it into my skin. The products are for sensitive skin, the towels are washed in sensitive, clear and dye free laundry detergent and Big Mike hands are AMAZING!!! My face feels like a baby’s bottom and I almost fell asleep while talking to Big Mike. So, please book your facial experience with Red Carpet Barber Salon and be sure to tell him your skin type and your troubled areas, I did!!!

I walked past the shop by chance and on a whim, decided to turn around and check it out. Really glad I did. The shop’s atmosphere is casual and friendly and the barbers are class acts. Vaughn was awesome: got me in the chair right away, was great to talk to and gave me the best cut I’ve gotten in a long time. The reviews don’t lie, Red Carpet is everything you need and want in a barber shop.

Red carpet is a prime example and definition of what it means to promote professionalism, each barber is consistent and skilled beyond belief. There’s been times when I needed a last minute cut and the only time I was available was at 6am, and the owner Mike accommodated me and my time and still provided me with a tier 1 haircut. If you’re truly looking for great barbers, a great atmosphere, and great community leaders Red Carpet barbershop is the place you want to be at. Doesn’t matter if you’re in the Hartford county area or way out in Stamford come to Red Carpet and leave feeling like a Celebrity. Ask for either Mike or Vaughn.

This place has Good Vibes very relaxed and customer orientated. The Shop has seasoned barbers that are available when your neighborhood barber shop isn’t. I go everytime i need a cut. Walk-in are welcome and they can also setup appointments according to your schedule.
