Hit or miss depending on the stylist you get. I would recommend checking the yelp reviews before going there. After going to this salon many times hoping for something better than they are capable of I will sadly never go back again. For starters hair color came out pretty black instead of brown natural look. I feel like the stylist should be able to ask the right questions to get you where you want to be and although she was friendly she wasn’t that helpful the most annoying part is she got dye all over my forehead and I have many interviews this week and a wedding to attend not happy about that. The real crazy part of my experience was the brow wax. The wax was way too hot, then she used too much It rolled down the side of my face burning all the way and got then the wax got stuck in my hair. I have never had a brow wax like that before! Front desk staff is great. Overall I would say Aveda is basically the same as Super Cuts with way higher prices.

I’m new in town and have been looking for a good nail salon. I’m glad I chose this one! Natalie did an excellent job on my nails, providing personalized attention to my needs. She also does reflexology, which was an excellent addition to my experience. I highly recommend this location for all your beauty needs.

If there was a 5/3 option, I’d choose that! The staff was friendly and saw me right on time, and the stylist talked with me about what would work well with my wild curly hair, and how to combat frizz. She coaxed me to cut 7 inches off, and I now have the best haircut I’ve ever had. I look better and feel better, and will be back next time I need an amazing haircut!

I went to get my hair cut and dyed, the lady literally told me she could not achieve what I wanted, and told me to go to a different salon. The communication was absolutely horrible, and I literally walked out the exact same way I walked in. Never in my life have I ever been turned away from a salon. I love Aveda products, but I will never go back to this salon. The lady was rude, and had no skill whatsoever when it comes to explaining to a client what the end result would look like.

I would recommend Gossip Girl Salon and this is why. I had to find another salon since my girl at Head First Hair Design moved away. I showed the hairdresser at Aveda (I won’t say her name) exactly what I wanted. I gave her three chances, each time not getting the color I wanted (showing her the same picture each time). I also spent over $300 each time (I have long hair ). I was recommended by a stranger I met who had the same hair color that I wanted to go to Gossip Girl Salon on 4th street. I showed Courtney the same picture and she nailed it! Plus it was only $135! I definitely recommend Gossip Girl!

It seemed like a great experience at first, but then my second time coming to this salon was different. The salon took my hair type (which isn’t difficult to do, it’s just thick and curly) as an opportunity to make money in a shady way. I called beforehand and was given a price for the services I requested, then when I got there I was told in the future the price would be almost 3 times as much because not only would I be charged for the services, but also by the hour. I was very upset. I’m disappointed, but not surprised. That’s the way salons work when you’re in an area that doesn’t cater to your hair type. /:

Love this place. Kayla has been my stylist for a few years and does a great job. Have had pedicures, massages and haircuts here. I love the Aveda products. I don’t do a lot with my hair and they don’t push me to buy product that I don’t need or color that I don’t want.
