I have been taking my son to Griselda for years. She is reasonably priced, but more importantly…. she does a great job on his hair! He has been picky about his hair cuts/styles since about middle school, and any time I would take him somewhere cheap (cost cutters, super cuts, etc), he would be very upset with the outcome. He must have had an idea in his head but, being so young, it was difficult for him to communicate what he would like to a stylist. We only walked away happy when we went to a higher end stylist, paying at least $35-$50 before tip for a simple boy’s haircut (and this was around 2010 or 2011!) I thought I would give Griselda a try based on extensive online searching of reviews for stylists in our area (tired of driving all the way to Austin), and I was so pleased we did! She did a great job of figuring out what he wanted plus what would look good on him, and gave him a cut that he could be proud of. Also, her prices were very competitive. At that time, she was only charging about $15 for a boy’s haircut. I am sure her prices have increased, as she has to pay for her space… plus he is now a man, so it is a little more. I would have been willing to pay the $35 even back then, because she is def worth it! He still goes to Griselda, and will probably be making trips home from college just to have her cut his hair! lol

I’ve been going to Griselda since before she opened her own shop. I was new to the area and had already tried a few places for a haircut. One Saturday morning I was driving around town desperately hoping to find a salon for a hair cut. Came across the shop she worked at and saw that the lights were on. Shop wasn’t even open yet, but Griselda took me as a walk-in at 700am and rest is history. I’ve swayed a couple of times, but always end up with her. She’s awesome in all that she does. You’ll never get a better cut or color anywhere else.
