Scheduled a 10 A.M appointment thru the phone for Saturday morning, I had my sisters wedding to attend, I go in there and no one has any idea of what I am talking about, when I asked if they have a scheduler, they said no every barber just has their own set appointments, I do not remember who it was I talked to but they had my name and number down. It was very hard to get something squeezed in on a Saturday morning and I’m glad a was able to find one. I’m sure the barbers here are great and I don’t doubt it, but the barber shop itself needs better organizational skills.

After making an appointment at another local shop called YO’s. I sat for 20 minutes without 1 employee acknowledging me. I decided if they can’t say even hello I would try Razor-sharp Barbershop. Immediately walking in the door, I was greeted by both employees. They both had clients and asked if a 15 min wait was OK. I said, both of you acknowledged me so take your time, I can wait. I was appreciative that I received a hello, especially compared to the previous business I visited. I will recommend this place to everyone I know. Thank you Razor-sharp for making me feel like a family member and not just another customer to take my money. My cut took almost an hour, and I could tell that the barber truly cared about my haircut. This is the definition of an artist. Thank you again and you will see me regularly from this point on.

From the moment I opened the door the customer service was excellent. There was a friendly hello and immediate time given for the current wait. I brought my two boys (under 10 yrs) in for a haircut. We are new to Illinois from California, so we were unsure of the barbershop experience we were about to have. My girlfriend usually chooses to stay outside in the car during the haircut experience because she doesn’t like the typical “barbershop” environments. I must compliment the entire shop for being professional enough for me to invite my girl in during the boys cuts. Both of our boys received excellent cuts but more importantly had good verbal communication with the two barbers they had. My girlfriend felt like she would be able to bring the boys back without my presence which speaks wonders for the professionals who work here. This shop is truly a family environment with a unique decor that is inviting and comfortable. The owner, Carlos, takes pride in the environment he provides. I witnessed him checking on every cut given in the shop and even stepped in to ensure 100% satisfaction of the customer before they leave the chair. I noticed the entire staff all took part in keeping a spotless shop from the moment I sat down… Five stars to Razor Sharp… well earned!

These guys are great! They squeezed my son & his friend in when he had an appt at a different barbershop on a Sat, and the barber never showed up to open. The owner here made sure both boys were taken care of and they looked awesome when they were done! The guys here are professional, nice and they really know their stuff!! My husband and sons will only go here from now on!
