Got there for my 2:30 appointment and waited till 2:50 for the guy to finish up his client, no problem. Then I waited till 3:10 for him to finish flipping through the channels on the TV for something to watch, only for him to sit another client down and start on her hair.

One of the best barbershop I have found in the area! I used to drive to NC from spartanburg just to see my barber who I trusted and he did a great job each time. Rufus at this shop has now become that guy for me. I have now moved to Charleston and I continue to come up here to get cut NY Rufus. The shop is clean, all the barbers are great. They do get pretty busy on a Saturday but they offer appointments to help with wait time. Do be prepared to wait a little if they are busy busy but they don’t rush a hair cut. Everyone gets a quality cut.

This place is on point. Hubby’s 1st visit was w/the owner and she (Wanda) is amazing. James took hubby as a walk in 1st thing in the morning & got him cleaned up and looking great. While in the chair the lobby started to get chairs filled so I’m glad to have gotten in so fast.

This barbershop came highly recommended so I called first to see if they had availability and no one answered. When I went by there was one barber cutting and told me she had to leave right after she was done cutting the person in the chair. Hours of the business are posted as them being open. They could use a lesson on being consistent with business hours. May be cool for the locals, but I moved to Spartanburg to finish a grad program in CS at Upstate and when I walked in, other than the chick on the end saying hello, I was practically invisible. Sat patiently until the one other barber there was finished, he walked right by me, didn’t even look in my direction, went outside, sat down, and started smoking a cigarette. The chick on the end stepped out because I saw her leave and come back as I was driving away. The most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had.
