Rick does excellent work. He has been cutting my hair and shaping/maintaining my beard for a little over 2 years now. He does a great job at being both professional and personable during your service and makes it a point to understand exactly what you want from start to finish and answers any questions you have about your cut or style ideas. Rick has a very specific attention to detail, and he makes sure every detail is perfect, lined up, and looks clean. The end result shows just how personalized and precise his work is and it’s always worth it. I am always happy with his work and nothing beats a fresh cut. With Rick’s work, he’s been able to get my hair and beard exactly the way I want it. Booking with him is super accessible and pretty clear-cut. Definitely recommend that you book in advance if you can! His site explains it all and has all the info you need. The location (S. Austin area right off Menchaca) is great and in a bustling local spot with a lot of cool places nearby and parking friendly. He’s really taken his shop to the next level and made it a comfortable experience for all; uses quality product and materials, which is important- this is your head/face we are talking about. Been going to Razor Rick for 3 years now since moving to ATX and always leaving with the freshest of fades. Always pays attention to the smallest of details and keeps me looking polished on a weekly basis. Sometimes we’ll switch up the look based on pictures I show him or he’ll suggest something that best suits your image. Definitely by far the best barber I’ve ever had. His motivation and drive for what he does really does show in his work. And by far one of the chillest people you’ll meet. When I broke up with my barber 5 years ago, I never thought there was anyone for me. Until I walked into this barber shop and I met this heaven sent angel. I walked in and was lucky to go right into his chair. I haven’t been with anyone else for the last 5 years and would never cheat on this barber.
