I recently moved to the area and this was the first place I tried when haircut time came around. Ray’z was alright, you pay quite a bit for an average cut. For the price you pay it wasn’t anything special, they didn’t do a bad job in fact I’ve been twice now, the first time I went the barber was a male and he didn’t cut some of the hair on my right side so that was annoying and I would have given them a 3 stars but the second time I went I switched barbers and the lady I had did pretty good which is why I’m giving them a 4.

Excellent haircut, great value. Best reservation website and app I’ve ever seen for a barbershop, makes it so easy to schedule and adjust if necessary, I recommend scheduling because they are usually booked pretty solid (at the Rock Island location at least) I recommend Taylor!

Well we never were able to get in since you need an appointment but had two barbers who were still waiting on clients and we were right outside they still stated no that’s not good business when you have a paying customer right outside the door and two customers who obviously were late for their appointments.

I had a great experience with Ray’z Barber Shop. I have been able to get my hair cut there through most of the pandemic. When I had to do a couple of home hair cuts in April and May, Ray’z was able to repair the damage in June. The staff is courteous, the facility is clean, and they listen to all of my hair requests.

Amazing experience! The team on 18th Avenue in Rock Island are Hair Guru’s! I don’t trust my haircuts to just anyone! Amber has gone above & beyond! Clean and friendly atmosphere always. Great place for kids and adult’s alike. If you haven’t tried them it’s time! Highly recommend.
