Critical: QualityUnfortunately today was my first & last time using Raya’s spa services. By far the least pleasant or relaxing massage experience ever. I came with a crook in my neck & left with it as well. She rushed and didn’t massage but rubbed cold oil, which she first squirted across my back, on me in a really fast up & down motion. She put the hot stones I requested on top of towels so I didn’t feel them at all. To add to all the distractions including the light being very bright and the extremely loud air conditioning system, I could hear her drop a container which spilled a large amount of what may have been water. She proceeds to wipe what seemed like every last drop up, in the middle of my service. She then finished by telling me to get dressed quickly because she needed to prepare for her next appointment. As mentioned online, my 60 minute massage granted 1 hour access to the facilities. I figured though I couldn’t relax during the massage, I could at least enjoy the sauna. I stopped an employee in the hall to ask which floor I could find the sauna on and she told me the sauna is closed because they didn’t want to spend the money it costs to keep heated.. & I was officially over this place. On a positive note, my friend really enjoyed her facial though she mentioned the mask was left on 30 minutes longer than planned. Though I’m frustrated to have paid someone to slap oil on me, I hope this helps anyone considering booking a massage at Raya.Unfortunately today was my first & last time using Raya’s spa services.
