Good haircut and highlights – terrible communication about the cost. If you want to spend lots of money on your curly hair for a good cut – not amazing, not great, this is the place to go. Don’t expect clear communication about the pricing. Instead of being told what I was going to pay, I was asked twice if I had read the website. The website includes photos, and four tabs. One of the tabs is services and that does include pricing.

Bae is AMAZING! I came to Raw Hair Salon desperately seeking a fix to a terrible hair coloring I had just experienced from another nearby salon. Bae fit me in with a consultation and was extremely thorough in understanding what I wanted and what process the previous stylist did to ensure she had the best plan for fixing. Today, I went for the actual visit with Bae. She devoted so much time to me and literally dissected parts of my hair that needed different treatments in order to be fixed properly. The final product was nothing short of a perfection! I have never had such a wonderful hair experience. Thank you, Bae!!!

Ana is wonderful!! She’s the kind of stylist who can “read” your hair and see what needs to be done. She listens and asks questions. She is trained to work with curly hair. Between salons being closed during the pandemic and postpartum hair loss, my hair was in a sad state. I remember thinking my hair wasn’t even that bad when I went in for my first appointment. I was floored when I left. My curls were bouncier and more defined than they’d been in years. I’ve been going for almost a year now, and the results get better and better each time I go. I highly recommend Raw Hair Studio to any curly girls, guys, or theys looking for someone who knows how to treat their hair. You won’t regret it!

She washed and did a treatment on my hair that left it feeling like silk and smelling wonderful. We consulted about what I wanted and she has been coloring and cutting my hair since. She is a professional and works to make sure her clients are happy with the results. Critical: Punctuality, QualityWent in for a haircut (layers/ a line /bangs) haven’t had a haircut in about 5 months loved my curls went to her because of the reviews. I showed a picture of what I kinda wanted. Red flags. She Cut my hair wet. second was that she dried and then straightened my hair to touch up cutting my hair..Told her I don’t ever straighten my hair, multiple times. And that I just blowdry it to help curls. (I understand my hair is short, but I came in expecting a curl specialist.) Third was that I told her texture was okay that ive used texturizing scissors to thin out the hair when it was extremely long.. she sectioned my hair (me thinking oh layers) to cut a whole section of hair out of my head leaving a half an inch of hair in it’s place. In other words it’s like she was forcing my hair to be straight because she didn’t want to cut curly hair. My final flag this nightmare cost $100. Prices were never talked about but for just a haircut I was expecting 50-60 not double.
