Raven spa always has the best masseuse. It’s a little on the pricey side, but if you’re looking for a local getaway THIS IS IT!

After arriving 15 min. late, I was told that my session will be cut short. The service is absent, two ladies at the desk were chatting to each other and were seemingly bothered by my appearance. The massage is the same as any other Thai place in the area. Sure, one star is for the “ambiance” but i didn’t come here for that, i came for the massage that i didn’t get and was charged for. After calling the manager multiple times, i gave up. Do yourself a favor and go to the “massage place” across the street and get much better service at half price.

My partner and I booked a Turkish soak, scrub, and massage in the Hammam at their Santa Monica location (+ The Facelift and Infrared sauna). Everything was truly a great experience! The space itself is very relaxing and quiet. We were there for a few hours, so our meter ran out. The woman working at the front even offered to go across the street and add extra time on her own card because my wallet was in my car. Extremely generous and thoughtful 🙂 We would definitely come back!

My husband and I booked a 90 minute massage with Bencha(sp) and Mary and we were both very happy. Both had medium to firm pressure. Very relaxing. Very cool interior as you feel transported to another time and county. After our massage they gave us tea, water and some fruit. Very nice.

By far the worst massage I’ve ever had. It was actually painful and not in the good painful way. I paid for a 90 minute session and only 10 or less minutes were actually spent on my back and neck which was what I asked for. Most of the session was on my legs for some reason. And the entire massage was done with the massage therapist using her elbows. The ambiance was great with the sound of water, tea and fruit they served but the massage was horrible. And it was not cheap. I don’t mind paying a premium if the service is premium but it was not. Definitely not worth it. I will never go back.

The ambiance is nice and I like that they provide tea and fruit like they do in hamans.

This place sold me a gift card for $350 and when I went to use it got the first time there was a zero balance and when I complained they asked me to leave. Don’t buy gift cards here because they’re gunna take your money and then kick you out

We paid 230 each plus a tip which amounted to 510 dollars for our massages. The place was not clean or sanitary, there were no real rooms only curtains to separate each person. It was muggy in inside, the bed I laid on felt oily and damp. The massage was very soft even asking to increase the intensity. The salt scrub for hands and feet was not what was expected. The face massage didn’t do any neck or shoulders. It was just a layer of Greek yogurt on my face that was wiped off with a rough hot towel, then honey separately put on and wiped off with a hot towel and then finally a spritz of lavender to the face for that price. I could’ve gone to a much cleaner and better location but this felt like a cheap foot massage location instead of a massage at a nice place. The sandals were not disposable, seemed like it was not washed. The tea was for 5 min In a Dixie cup. Additionally there were people talking loudly outside while I was getting massage and I told my masseuse about it who did nothing. The whole experience was for my wife and I to get away for our anniversary and instead we went home feeling gross and wanted to scrub the nasty feeling off our skin.
