I’m so sorry to write this, I love supporting local business but fair is fair and I didn’t have a good experience — I went in for a bikini wax and couldn’t even bring myself to get on the table. The room was very small – hardly big enough for the table and not in any way private. There is a curtain that stops just shy of the table level and it’s curled on the edges offering a clear eyeshot into the room from the main hallway. Big discrepancy between the updated, modern looking salon on the website and the actual location.

Linda’s been my one and only for cuts and color since we still lived in NYC more than five years ago. I found her during a desperate search for someone who could really understand my hair (exceptionally thick, wavy/curly under various circumstances, unruly, and very fast growing), which trust me, has been screwed up by some of the most famous names in the business. I loved her at first meeting, and cut, and won’t go to anyone else. Michelle is also a doll, and although I will forever be a Linda acolyte, I’ve seen equally great-looking styles rise from Michelle’s chair! Rapunzel combines old-fashioned caring and customer service with the best in fashion-forward trends (yes, in Vermont), all at exceptionally reasonable prices. Avoid those salons on Church Street and go straight to the best. You won’t regret it for a minute.
