I scheduled a trim and told my hairstylist that I wanted the minimum amount possible off of my hair as I was trying to keep it long. They suggested 3-4 inches and then we comprised around 3-2 which still sounded like a lot for a trim, but I wanted to trust the stylist given it had been 5 months since my last trim. I’m not sure how much I got off, but it seems closer to 4-5 inches – which is the most I’ve ever had cut from my hair in the three years that it’s been grown out. Maybe it was miscommunication and I needed to advocate for myself, but I was under the assumption that a scheduled trim was typically under 2 inches. :(. The staff was so kind, the cut was disappointing.

This was my first time getting a haircut at the Aveda in Athens, and I’m so happy with the outcome. I worked with Alexis, who gave me some tips on how to better care for my curly hair, and suggested products that are within my price range, as well as some that would be worth the splurge. Since talking to her about my hair, I feel more confident in my curls and know how to treat them better. Thank you Alexis!

I came in for a blowout and style my hair ended up nothing like the picture I gave the stylist (which was my own hair previously) so I came back in to get it fixed and she styled it the same way as before. My curls also fell in less than 10 minutes and my hair was CRUSTY from the product used and they wouldn’t offer a refund and blamed the curls on me. Not a good experience at all would not recommend.
