While I was waiting I noticed they did not sanitize during my whole wait and they cut about 4 people and never once used barbercide or any spray sanitizer.. Also the barber doesn’t speak English I had to tell the owner what I wanted and he told the guy cutting my hair. I felt helpless when I wanted to make sure he was doing what I wanted because of the language barrier. then they spoke Spanish the whole time and I got the feeling they were talking about me or arguing it was very uncomfortable. I then realized the guy cutting my hair did not have a barber license. it all hit me at once he couldn’t have a license if he doesn’t speak or understand English and therefore he wouldn’t know about sanitation but the owner did have a license and he did not sanitize during or between haircuts. They didn’t have a sink to wash my hair and that’s gross. reviews were good and this place was in a good neighborhood close to where I live and was really nice inside. They swept the hair up between cuts but that’s it. Sanitation is so important when dealing with the public and childrent and this place failed miserably. I hate confrontation so I got my haircut and speed home to shower because of the sanitary conditions. The haircut was acceptable but everything else wasn’t. Public Beware we have rules and regulations for business to follow and have barber licenses and business sanitation rules for a reason and this place should be reported to all of them because they must feel the rules don’t apply to them. .

Walked into Rams barbershop not long after he bought the place.I always have high expectations when it comes to me hair and beard. I was blown away and I’ve been going back every month since and will keep going back. Ramiro is an awesome guy. He’s a family man and makes you feel like one of the guys when you come in. He’s cuts are always top notch. I get drop fades and beard trim ups always come out looking so clean. All that runs me around $30 which is a steal. So if you’re looking for a barber in that Sarasota area Rams barber shop is the only place to go.
