Positive: QualityAs far as I’m concerned, this is the best salon in LA. You know this because it has been around since the early 90’s. I actually knew about it because I had been a receptionist at a salon where Philip Carreon and Robert Ramos had worked before venturing off to start their own Salon. I then started to go to have Philip cut my hair because I had always admired his style. All that said, he has been cutting and styling my hair on and off since then. (I have left LA for periods) I’ve gone from very short pixie cuts, to longer layered cuts to Bobs. Every time Philip nails it, every year, every decade. As far as I’m concerned, this is the best salon in LA. You know this because it has been around since the early 90’s. I actually knew about it because I had been a receptionist at a salon where Philip Carreon and Robert Ramos had worked before venturing off to start their own Salon. I started with Robert Ramos who I adore to this day. I was nervous about going because I thought it would be a place that only the rich and famous went and if you weren’t a “somebody” you wouldn’t get treated the same. I couldn’t have been more WRONG!! It was the complete opposite! Everyone at the salon treats you like you’re their favorite client. I have thick, frizzy, curly dark brown hair. Robert gave me beautiful color, highlights and cut that lays just right. Looks like I’ve been on a tropical vacation and got those natural highlights. Chris was Roberts assistant at the time and learned from the best. At some point Robert was out of town and I went to Chris. I’ve been seeing him ever since as well. I genuinely look forward to seeing Chris every few weeks. I look forward to our lively conversations as well as feeling like a million bucks when i walk out. I get tons and tons of comments on my hair, from cut to color!! HIGHLY recommend seeing Chris if you want that perfect color and cut, like you just got back from vacation. I’ve been going to Ramos Carreon Salon for about 10 years and I see Christopher who i would give 10 stars. I started with Robert Ramos who I adore to this day. I was nervous about going because I thought it would be a place that only the rich and famous went and if you weren’t a “somebody” you wouldn’t get treated the same. I couldn’t have been more WRONG!!
