Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityNaturals beware. I only use heat once a year, in January I went to Ramonas to have my hair straightened. Besides mentioning that I made an appointment for 1pm and not getting in a chair until 3pm, My hair is completely heat damaged. It’s been months and I still have literal straight pieces of hair that I now have to cut off. The first photo is my hair before and the others are of after. Naturals beware. I only use heat once a year, in January I went to Ramonas to have my hair straightened. Besides mentioning that I made an appointment for 1pm and not getting in a chair until 3pm, My hair is completely heat damaged. I hate this place ! It is horrible they will fry your natural curls. I went for a blow out and it’s now about 8 months later and my hair is still straight. I hate that they ruined my curls injust wanted a straight style for a few days and now I have to cut all my hair off again. I hate this place and would not recommend AT ALL for anyone who cares about there hair! And don’t even think about coming here if you have natural curls they will ruin it ! Not to mention my appointment was at 3pm I didn’t get seated into a chair until 6pm. Rose told me to leave and come back because the appointment before me was running late and she wanted to do her before me. Like what kind ghetto establishment is this??

This place is not good for natural curly hair. I went there for a regular blow out and it looked nice but when it was time to wash my curl did not come back at all. It was as if she put chemicals in my hair… my curls haven’t came back and it’s been about 3 months. I’ll have to cut my hair off again due to how damaged it is because of this salon. Do NOT COME HERE THEY WILL FRY YOUR HAIR!

These stylist are not good. All they know how to do is dye, fry and dry out your hair. Unless you dont mind having brittle ends than this salon might be up your alley. Eventually your hair will began to shed and break off. I will not be returning here, besides the stylist are rude and have poor customer service.

I went to Ramona’s hair salon today and Rossy did my natural hair. She did a great job. My last relaxer was in 2013. It is now almost 8 years later and it looks as though I relaxed it but I sure didn’t. I love it. Thanks Rossy your the best. price was reasonable. I love Ramona’s! I have been coming on and off for years. If you don’t have an appointment you will wait, but the staff is always nice. My grandmother has even started going on a regular basis and they treat her with such care. Falco does not play and will press your even the baby hair and edges! Rose slays with the color, but no matter who does your hair you’ll love it! My hair is completely natural, so I don’t press it often, but have never had an issue with my curl pattern returning. Even times when I go every week after an extended period of not applying heat my curls recover.

I can’t give this place anything less than 5 stars. It has changed completely from when I used to come here years ago. I was seated promptly and the stylist was attentive. She offered a service that I didn’t want…or I thought . I came back the next day for the service she offered the day before and she got me right in the chair. I don’t expect this all the time because it’s above and beyond, but I was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean and the conversation was moderate. They were very professional. There was a stylist that used to with there in the past who was very unprofessional, but she’s gone. I’ve seen her make several young girls is cry. The atmosphere has changed completely. A+ service! In the past I would have given it a D, but they have really improved.

Ramona Beauty Salon does excellent job and prices are fair. Appointments are booked to close, if you have time restraints. It would also be nice, if they would speak English, with customer base, being a mixture of different cultures. Overall, I will go back again. Excellent blow outs.

The service provided was amazing. However, the stylist does not know how to book her appointments properly. She does not start at the scheduled time, more so like an hour to get 1 1/2 after the scheduled time. In addition she try to give her customer to another stylist. Scheduling could use improvement. Also, if you do bot speak or understand Spanish you will feel veryout id place, as there is no T.V. or anything for waiting clients.
