Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueStunned. It would be easier to just make a list of all the things that went wrong here at this shop. I went to this braiding shop throughout the year for the past three years I haven’t really had any bad experiences with them until this past incident. I called and made an appointment about 45 minutes to coming in. This is a little short notice but you would think if there was no one available within that time to tell the customer that. Ask them BEFORE coming in if another day would be better , which would be understandable. I go in at 2pm and don’t get may hair started in till 6:30pm. Why would I wait that long? Well I had already spent money to get there and arrange my plans for this. It would be hard to pull this off again . She asked about two hours of me waiting if I wanted to come another day I told her know as I had work the next day and was unable to come after 7pm which was when she was asking me to come. I was frustrated, but I waited patient when she finally started my hair she stopped 30 minutes to eat her Chinese food she ordered. Again I sat waiting for her to get more the the 3 braided she started now almost 7. She braided straight through and the only problem I had was her “” scratching the inside of her nose and proceeding to do my hair with covid going around. After she was finished I was happy with the product until I realized the next morning that at the root of my hair the braid it was snipped. SHE CUT MY HAIR AND DIDN’T SAY A WORD. Got charged $160 for this. I don’t recommend them. Always look close at the work before paying the money. I didn’t realize because they put so much moose on you’re hair it temporarily sticks down all small hairs.Service: HairstylingStunned. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityEarlier in the week I called to schedule an appointment & it was scheduled for Friday at 11:30a. I get to the salon, no one is there but the lights are on & the open sign is lit up. I proceed to call the number on the salon & whoever answers informs me they will be there in about 10 to 15 minutes. No apologies for the inconvenience or anything. I return to sit in my car & after about 20 minutes I go back to the front of the store where another customer is also standing outside waiting. Finally an employee of the shop walks up with open food in her hand & says good morning & let us in. When we enter the shop she asks how can she help us, the other customer replies she called yesterday to make an appointment for 11:30a & I reply I called on Tuesday to make an appointment for 11:30a today as well. The employee says that the owner Rama is coming to braid my hair & that we could have a seat. The employee then sits down & proceeds to eat the food her sandwich. She did not bother to her customer that she would be with her shortly or give her a minute, just continues to eat. When she was done with her sandwich she opens up a bag of chips & proceeds to eat them. She tells the other customer that she can sit in the chair and starts to follow her to the chair with chips in hand. The customer says she does not mind waiting so that she can finish her food and go wash her hands before touching her. Once the customer sit down in the chair employee again asked which one of us was there first. I then say “why are you asking that? I thought you said my braider was on her way.” She replies that she is on her way with this dismissive look on her face & tone to her voice. I then asked how long & she tells me that I can text her to find out. Baffled, I stated this was my first & last time there & that this is ridiculous & I walked out. Never again. When I get to my appointment she starts cutting the hair that I brought with me in half and throws the other half in the trash! She then tells me that it’s $220 for what I asked for which is the medium knotless butt length. She argued with me after I showed her what she said in the messages and then tells me that I have to pay for my hair in advance after she started doing my hair!
