I called Rama last minute to set up an appointment for medium mid back box braids. She was very accommodating and direct on what was expected and what came with the price. The shop is very nice and clean. The staff is so very friendly and hands down the best braiders around. I left feeling so beautiful and happy with my hair. Thank you so much Rama for everything!

I had a terrible experience. First as I sat down to get my hair done I saw rats and the ladies there were not even bothered. Second when the lady was combing my hair she kept pulling my hair she was rough with combing it. Third I told her what I wanted and she went on and braided long half way through she called the other lady I think that’s Rama coco and told her she had braided long so they should change the price mind u my hair is half done when they are telling me the are charging the price. My braids are not even done to the end she trimmed then but they don’t even look trimmed. She put them in hot water but they just look horrible. If you are to get braided here I recommend trying Rama coco herself than the people that work for her. Never again will I use their business again. They are other braiding shops around there I suggest you try that. Good luck

The ladies were kind and I appreciate the quickness of the knotless braid style. I went in at 9:11 and was done by 12:45, for small/ medium knotless braids. The braids look well done. However the salon was dirty like so dirty that brown fruit flies were flying all around me the whole time. It was an uncomfortable experience. I’m paying $200 for braids I should atleast be in a clean space. And I really didn’t appreciate her getting old hair. She didn’t pull out a new pack of hair until like the last braid….so again old hair dirty salon and I’m spending $200 atleast give me a good experience. Also I asked her not to go past my waist, she did by accident and tried to charge me $220, I let her know immediately that $200 was my budget and it’s not my fault that she made the hair longer. Overall, I wouldn’t revisit due to the cleanliness of the place. The knats were feeding off the hair gel. It was so bad that when she picked it up you saw all the flies fly away. There’s so many braiding salons, I’d try somewhere else, next time which sucks because these ladies seemed kind and did a good job on my hair.

I had just started a new job and your appearance matters, but my hair was extremely short due to a big chop. It had grown about 1 and a half inches since April so I thought I would take my chance and try to see if someone can catch it. I googled hair braiding salons near me. She popped up. I visited the website (which is spectacular by the way), I was very intrigued. I needed to get it done right away on Saturday night and called her at 11: 55 pm. To my surprised she answered and was more than accommodating. We were able to step up appointment the next day for 4 in the afternoon. The experience was exceptional. She is warm inviting Lord and behold she was able to catch my short hair. My hair came out better than the picture I wanted. What is even more incredible than her actual gift of hair braiding is her customer service. Her demeanor is everything. I loved every moment of it. Just the atmosphere was different than I ever experienced in a salon. The rooms are design solely by her and are very clean and looked professional decorated. She is is my gift because it was by chance I found her and i’ll never forget the spiritual talks we had. She moved me. I’m beyond elated with my results. I will be coming back. She has a customer for life.
