Victoria did my hair and makeup for my wedding and I couldn’t have been happier. She really listened to what I wanted and I felt very comfortable asking her to try different variations. I don’t usually wear makeup, and Victoria did a great no-makeup look that made me feel like myself but just a little better. The atmosphere and kindness of everyone in the salon is so welcoming. I recently had my hair cut and colored by Victoria, and to say I love the outcome is truly an understatement. Victoria took her time to make sure she did exactly what I asked and even stayed late into the evening to style my hair. I also bring my 4 year old to Victoria for a trim every month and her patience and skill is incredible. Kristy, the owner, always makes sure to say hi us and takes time to talk to everyone who comes in. I will not go anywhere else and recommend everyone to this salon.

I had the best experience at this salon. Cara did my hair and she’s just amazing. Im super loyal to my current salon but I had to have my hair done for a friend’s wedding and not only was the staff super sweet and welcoming the overall experience was amazing. They do everything here and it’s so close to every hotel motel in St.Albans it’s very convenient. Very fairly priced, I thought when I called they would say at least $100 for my length, color (red&frizzy&curly&thick) it was much less. So I was able to tip her fairly as she most def did an amazing job on my hair. Again thanks Rail City Salon and thank you Cara for making my day so much easier. Everyone should know of this salon they are awesome.

I walked in to Rail City Salon on Main Street today to see if they could squeeze me in as a walk-in. I waited at the counter for a couple of minutes content to scroll through my phone. All of the staff were in the back. A woman (clearly a stylist) came walking up to the counter with a phone on her shoulder, talking to someone. She glanced at me & asked what I wanted, not at all friendly. I felt like I was bothering her. I would have been more than happy to wait until you put the phone down. Strike 1.
