I actually feel bad writing this review. My experience at the barber shop was pleasant. Good open convo with barbers and customers, was made to feel welcomed in the shop. The place was neat and clean. But as far as my haircut, I was pretty disappointed. My fade was, well… Not faded. I had a noticeable line where the fade should have been. I asked for a skin tight fade and he tappered it and faded it at the same time. And it was not even. Didnt even line up the edges around my forehead/hairline. I had to go home and try to fix the uneven blends on the sides and back. Maybe it was because they were about to close and he was rushing. It was one of the worst haircuts I’ve ever paid for. And i am not saying this out of anger or malice. It simply was not a good cut. I am giving them a 3 for the prompt courteous service, the good vibes and clean shop. But my haircut itself deserved a 1 star score

Tried other places and I either didn’t get the haircut I asked for or I felt like I was just another $ client. When I look for a barber I want to receive the cut I want and at the same time feel like I’m not rushed through the process. I started going to Kas’s shop about 7 years ago when I moved from the Bronx, NY to Roselle, NJ. Kas and Eric do an outstanding job when it comes to cutting hair!
