Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI love Andrea and this salon. The location is really convenient for us. Its close to I 69 and 116th St. and accessible from all directions. Andrea has such talent. She’s never disappointed me or my family with her services. Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI saw Annabelle at Radiate 60 before my wedding, and after extensive text conversation I felt like we were on the same page about my hair. I told her I wanted to be lighter but I feared being yellow blond or having streaky hair. After 3 hours at the salon Annabelle left me with yellow streaked hair, and told me I’d have to come back for a second appointment in 2 weeks to finish. I let her know I was unhappy and asked her to fix my hair, essentially reversing what she had done. Not only did I have to live and work with embarrassing hair for weeks, but she charged me hundreds of dollars for the initial color and again for the fix, when she had originally given me a total quote at half the price. On top of this Annabelle did not wear a mask when styling my hair during COVID 19. I saw Annabelle at Radiate 60 before my wedding, and after extensive text conversation I felt like we were on the same page about my hair. I told her I wanted to be lighter but I feared being yellow blond or having streaky hair. I’ve had an appointment for months (pre-and post COVID) and today, 3 hours before the appointment, Leslie Donn cancelled.She informed me of the new expedited salon service with no blow dry today, 4 hours before the appointment.I expressed (politely and professionally) concern that the outcome of the color and cut will be unreliable with the “no blow dry” policy.She responded; “Honestly, you have been the only client in our salon to be frustrated by our policy” I happen to know several other clients and know that is definitely not the case.She then threatened to reschedule. When I wasn’t willing to reschedule, she said she was cancelling the appointment.Clearly a ego issue. She may even be overworked. That said, this is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable.Save yourself some time and a headache and find a more reliable salon.Unbelievable.
