I really tried to like this place and gave it a few tries even though there were issues in each of my visits. The most recent two have been the worst. My husband booked me a 70 minute long Hydrafacial which according to their website also includes a hand and foot massage, he dropped me off and the lady upfront told us what time I would be done (approximately 70 minutes later,) to my shock, I was done in 40 minutes. During those 40 minutes my esthetician burned my neck with a hot towel, I had a red mark on my neck when I walked out of the spa as well as a few bumps in that area. I was very disappointed but did not want to complain being that the burn happened at the start of my service, I was also very disappointed that the foot massage they advertised was not included. A few days earlier I had also gone in for a petit shellac mani, while friendly, the person who performed the service was given wrong information and did a regular mini manicure, did not include shellac. When I realized this, she said the front desk girl had entered the wrong info and she redid my nails. When I went to pay the charged me for a FULL shellac mani instead of the petite one I had booked. I paid and tipped of course but again I knew I was going to come back in for the facial and didn’t want to complain. I submitted a review as they requested via email the same night they performed my facial and no one has even reached out to apologize. I will not be going back and recommend you don’t either. I fell for the atmosphere of the spa but just because it looks good does not mean they will perform good services. I also accidentally exited the wrong way through the back when leaving and saw the receptionist just scrolling through her phone, she hid it as soon as she saw me.

We have been here before and have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As such, my husband booked us another couples massage as a present for my birthday. Two days before our scheduled appointment, someone left a message with my husband to inform him that there was a double booking but we would still get massages, just in separate rooms. I called back because this wasn’t an acceptable alternative. If we had wanted separate massages we would have booked them. I completely understand that mistakes happen, so I was hoping we could reschedule for later that day to keep it on my birthday. We had also planned for my family to watch our baby that day since they were in town. The woman I talked with on the phone was definitely nice, but no ownership was taken on this mistake. Since WE booked second, WE couldn’t get the couples room end of story. There were no other availabilities for that day, no offer for a discounted price for a service we didn’t originally want (the now separate massages)…no gift certificate offered to be used for a future couple’s massage…nothing. She did say that she would let me know if someone canceled and we would be the first to get that spot and also reminded me of their cancellation policy. Already I’m thinking, wow unwilling/unable to help and also willing to see us cancel. So we called around hoping we could maybe find another place that would be willing/able to take us on such short notice and we found one! So I immediately booked with them and called radiance spa back to let them know we would cancel our now individual massages and also let them know I was disappointed in their lack of customer service. The same day I got a call back from a different woman who profusely apologized and said they could indeed get us in for a couples massage that day. Why wasn’t this already done before? I didn’t want to back out with the other spa who worked with us to get us in, so I declined. She continued with that our situation was mishandled and that she hoped we could consider them in future. I would like to know how it would have been better handled? It was a very civil and seemingly genuine conversation. Nothing but an apology has been offered however. This would have been a great opportunity to give some type of incentive to show us they really want us back as customers, especially since they lost business for the day we had scheduled. The callback is appreciated but again the ball has been dropped—no offer for a discount for a future service?, or gift certificate?, etc. We certainly didn’t feel like they valued us as clients since they made no attempt to keep our originally agreed upon couples massage appointment until AFTER we cancelled. Would they have called back if I hadn’t said anything about being disappointed in their lack of customer service? Sadly, radiance spa has lost two customers and we don’t plan on going back. Two stars are given because it was a great place but the mishandling of our situation has left a bad taste in our mouth and we would rather spend our money at another spa who values their customers through actions that reflect their words, not just words that don’t match up with their actions.

Positive: QualityI decided to try this spa out as a birthday treat for myself. I created my own “package” starting with Float Spa, then a 50 min massage, and last a 30 min facial. Right from the start, the staff was very friendly, I could tell they took great pride in the over-all cleanliness of the spa, and really wanted to ensure you have a great experience. They give you a comfy warmed up robe and some water resistant slippers. The robe was cozy, But not plush and soft. I really appreciated how they warm it before you put it on! The lockers aren’t the most private, but there weren’t a lot of people when I went so not a big deal.This is the first time I’ve ever done a float spa, so wasn’t quite sure what to expect. They put me in the “cabin” and it was really nice! You have your own private shower, and the products they have for you to shower with are really nice! So I loved that extra bonus. Floating is an absolute must! It took me a minute to adjust but once I relaxed and found my “zen” if you will, it was incredible! Would definitely do it again! Not long after my float, my masseuse was ready for me, it was really nice that I didn’t have to sit around waiting, very much appreciated!I have to admit, I was a little skeptical of the masseuse because when I asked if I could add hot stones she had said she wasn’t trained in it, and looking a little young, I wasn’t quite sure how it would go, but I was very wrong for doubting her because she gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had! I usually get a massage every quarter since I was 18 (I’m 26 now) and I’ve had em all! From best to worse, and she was one of the best I’ve had. It was so nice that when our 50 mins were up I was a little sad lol. But once I put my robe back on and exited, she was waiting right outside with a glass of water, very attentive! I truly felt spoiled!Last was the facial, and again, didn’t have to wait at all for her to get me into the room. The facial was also a very nice experience. I don’t have major skin concerns, so can’t really relate to those who are looking for acne or aging treatments, but it was very relaxing. She extracted a couple of white heads, which always hurts, but followed up with some really nice soothing formulations that took the pain away. What I really loved about the whole experience is at the very end of the facial she applied a light moisturizer with some spf, I was very thankful for that, I’m a nut about sunscreen and skin care, it was very much appreciated!Overall it was a lovely experience, but I’m only giving 4 stars because the overall ambience of the spa was kind of loud. The staff is very polite and cheery which is great, but when I go into a relaxing place I like to feel relaxed through and through. I could also hear people talking right outside the door during a massage and facial. A year ago I booked a couples massage through Radiance. I had always had great experiences there prior. The day of the couples massage they called to let me know that one masseuse had called in sick and that one of us could take a facial appointment instead. I decided to take the facial since my fiancé didn’t want it. I wasn’t offered a discount on it or anything. Then, today I had a facial and massage booked for relaxation before my wedding in 3 days. This morning I received a call, and yet again, my masseuse called in sick. This time I was not offered anything in return. I was only placed on a list to call me if something opens up soon. I came in for my facial and no discount was applied to my facial or offer to cover my upcoming massage. It has now been 2 years since my last massage because Radiance has called off my massage the day of twice in a row.
