I was wanting to try something new and I trusted these ladies with my natural hair, something I’m normally hesitant to do. I had a great experience getting my hair colored at this salon. Did I mention these ladies sure know how to blow out natural hair? I’ll definitely be making a visit here when I’m back in the D.C area.

Ladies at Rachel Joyce organic Salon are such a joy and blessing to do business with. They are a nice, clean establishment with professionals who are honest with the client and themselves about the skills and techniques they can perform and what works best with the client they are serving. Staff seems very knowledgeable and family oriented as they work together to keep good flow and energy within the shop. I was hesitant as i am a guy with little luck finding someone who loves my hair as much or more than me. It was my first visit and needed alot of help. The ladies Regina and Janisia(sp?) both were super sweet and supportive being able to answer questions and give advice. They also helped evaluate my current routine to help with my home self hair care while providing suggestions or acknowledgments to think that we’re working. They never made me feel like a burden or quick money and it shows through the time and care spent.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ashley!!! After 3 sad months, 4 hair salons, and hundreds of dollars less, Ashley was the one who saved my curls after the first stylist I went to for my ‘big chop’ completely ruined my hair cut (been transitioning for a year). I went to salons with great reviews and advertised as natural hair salons but still got disappointed and felt uncomfortable wearing my natural hair out.

Rachel joyce salon did an outstanding job on my single strand twists. Ashley was able to style my hair in the exact way I asked and she did a fantastic job. All of the staff are friendly and professional. AND my appointment started on time. I will be going back and my wife liked the place so much she booked an appointment as well.

They do a great job with the color! My hair feels better than it has in years, in part because their stylist follows the protocol exactly and uses a protein rinse recommended by the line. I have seen dozens of Organic Color systems stylists over the years, and some have made a mess of my hair. Rachel Joyce let me maintain control over my formula (I really do know best after all this time using the line), and they do a better job than anyone out there.

Danielle’s great! The salon’s ambience is welcoming and relaxed . My stylist Danielle aka “Dani” was professional and down to earth. My hair looks and feels great. I told Dani what I wanted; she offered her expert advice. The end result is that my 4C hair and I are sooo grateful! I had my hair blown out, cut, and styled. I whole heartily recommend Dani! I’ve already scheduled my next appointment for a twist out!
