I’ve had each of the guys (John, Josh and Neil) cut my hair at one time or another, and each has done a fantastic job. Race City Barber Shop reminds me of the neighborhood barber shops that I grew-up with as a child. The guys are great, there’s an atmosphere of friendship and welcome, and the guys are always happy to see you when you come in.

By far my favorite barber shop! I usually wait and let John cut my hair because he knows what I prefer and does a damn good job, every single time! You can’t go wrong with any of the guys there, in my opinion. They are all great guys and get to know you by name. Their prices are also really good, though I usually add a tip as well. If you want a quality haircut, check them out!

I’m a younger guy (20) and this is the first real barber shop I’ve been too. I’ve been to great clips and sports clips but it’s a gamble, some days I would get a hair cut I liked other days not so much. I’ve only received hair cuts that I love from this place and the atmosphere is great, would recommend to anyone! Haircut

Took my 5 year old to get a haircut. His last experience with another chain salon was very traumatic as the stylist was incredibly mean to him. I was concerned how he would do, but I have to say that Josh did a great job with him. He was very patient with him and talked to him through the entire process. My son has some developmental delays that can inhibit communication, but Josh made him feel comfortable and worked well with him. Can’t say enough good things!

Friendly atmosphere and place. Came in for a beard trim. The gentleman was very professional and enjoyed talking to them. They do not take appointments so walk-ins are welcome. I might have waited 30 minutes out in my car. All that he’d done with a trim up and shape up for a beard was $5 +the tip. (Remember to tip your members of the service industry!!!!) I’d 100 percent recommed them, will be going back!
