There are not enough words to describe Carol’s attention to detail, professionalism, personal service, skill and artistry. The atmosphere and cleanliness of the salon areas were superb. There is no double booking so you may be assured of a safe, sanitized, and secure environment where social distancing is definitely in practice. I enjoy my experience at Carol’s R & R Salon because of the customer service and professionalism. She doesn’t double and triple book appointments and therefore you’re not spending your day at the salon. She’s very conscious of the time you spend there and the service she provides. The salon prices are comparable to other salons in the Jacksonville area. She has done wonders for hair. My hair no longer sheds, it is the healthiest it has been in a while. My hair agrees with her hands and the products she uses. If you are looking for someone on the Orange Park area, stop by and experience R& R Salon.

I came to the salon based on previous reviews. I came for a consult and ended up staying to get my hair done. Carol was nice enough to stay even though she was scheduled to close. She listened to my concerns and requests and was very understanding and had some great ideas for my hair. I decided to get a dark burgundy/cola colored semi permanent dye for my gray strands (there were plenty of them). I enjoyed the experience and will return for any hair care needs. I asked for a trim to cut the dead ends and it helped improve the look of my natural hair. The only reason I am giving 4 strars instead of 5 is because of the price. The trim cost me $20 which I wasn’t expecting. My hair wasn’t cut in a style, the ends were just trimmed and I thought it would be included with the style. In the future l will be sure to ask before receiving a service to be sure I am aware of any additional costs that may be added.

Carol was unhelpful and did not listen at all. She grossly over charges for her aggressively mediocre services. She gets defensive when questioned and touts that she has been doing hair for 20 years. If this is so she should stop now. She displayed very little knowledge, but constantly disparaged other stylists. She also asks inappropriate questions and attempts to push when you decline to answer. I will never go back.
