Critical: Cleanliness, QualityShortly after my wedding, I booked an appointment to have my acrylic nails removed. I booked the appointment online and have the email confirmation of what was booked. Here is the exact wording of what I booked: Acrylic / Dipping Powder / Gel Nails Removal + Manicure with rose at 10:45AM. When I arrived she told me I booked only a manicure, and I booked the wrong thing to have my acrylic nails removed. She even pulled up the appointment confirmation, shoved it in my face and said it was wrong. I pointed out that it says acrylic nail removal and manicure. She told me “next time book a ‘nail color change’ so there is time to soak them off” then pried them off without soaking, the whole time loudly and rudely criticizing me for having them removed so soon after getting them. She used an artificial nail and toenail clippers to hack away at the acrylic nails. I explained that I’m in the military and had them done for my wedding, but can’t have them at my job. My nails were left extremely damaged and painful from having ripped them off. The place was also very unsanitary. When I sat down, the table in front of me was covered with someone else nail filings that hadn’t been cleaned up. Right in front of my they simply laid a towel over it and carried on as if this normal.
