If you want to look beautiful and receive expert advice, come here!!! You won’t be disappointed. They don’t pull your edges. They won’t braid your edges if it is too fine. They are very professional and try to accommodate all their clients. They are very kind and passionate about doing hair. If you want to look beautiful and receive expert advice, come here!!! You won’t be disappointed. They don’t pull your edges. They won’t braid your edges if it is too fine. You rarely find that in braiding shops. They are talented women and just absolutely beautiful inside and out.

Critical: QualityI had made an appointment when I arrived they began to act unfamiliar with the appointment I made the day prior. That was the first red flag. I honestly asked her if she wanted to do my hair and she said yes. Her daughter then came to do my waist length box braids. The timing was bad. She finished in about 5 hours. However the overall quality was terrible. Within two days my hair was sticking out on the sides and coming out of the braids. I have had my hair braided so many times and never experienced such messy quality. They were really nice and “fixed” it however it just still was not quality work. The parts were even uneven. I spent $180 and even tipped my original braider just to take my hair out after two weeks because it was so messy. I explained to Ms. Mae that I have been getting sewn in hair weaves for a long time and my hair suffered damage around the edges. She was very professional and patient. She told me to wait for a few weeks before getting my hair braided. She mentioned crochet braids and told me to research it on the internet for pictures to see if I would like it. I did. I made the appointment and Ms. Mae with her daughter did my hair. My hair looked beautiful when they finished. I received numerous compliments from my husband, my children, and my co-workers. I would definitely recommend Queens African Hair Braiding. I’m going back in a month to try a different crochet hair style. I explained to Ms. Mae that I have been getting sewn in hair weaves for a long time and my hair suffered damage around the edges. She was very professional and patient.
