I am sure the other artists are amazing but if you have a choice don’t go to Rick. He added dots all over the tattoo without telling me, asking me color choices of dots, just added them. I was shocked since I didn’t come to him with this design idea so I could look like I had the black plague. I was very excited to see this person, after a $200 deposit required 2 weeks later I wasn’t able to see the stencil until I got to the shop. There were no dots on stencil as attached below in picture. (There is a few but not like on the final tattoo.) I am infuriated, as this piece was $360 with adding 20% tip. When I saw this at the shop I asked if we could add blue dots maybe to make it look less sickly, I was met with a sharp “those were the colors I told you.” I just wanted to leave. I thought maybe it would grow on me. The next day I messaged Rick and asked him what can we do as this is not what I wanted. I was told that his minimum was $200. He wanted money to fix something I had never asked for. I have never had such a terrible tattoo experience in my 10 years of getting them. My case has been made less significant to him since I disputed on PayPal my last payment that included the tip while I was very upset. I tried to cancel dispute but it had already notified him. Nothing happened with that of course he has all of his money and I have a tattoo on my body I didn’t ask for. Such a weird experience with a rude ego motivated artist.

I moved from Charlotte NC to Wilmington NC 5 months ago. I had always gotten tattooed at places in uptown CLT so when moving I was nervous to go to somewhere new. That being said I discovered Queen Street Tattoo from driving by and I will say it was the best decision to start getting tatted here! Such an awesome and friendly environment! I 10/10 recommend coming here for all your tattoo needs while in ILM! I have seen Ruben, Sky and a guest artist J and all of them are my most complimented work on me! They also have amazing apparel! They take so much pride in their work and I will not go anywhere else! Thank you Queen Street Tattoo for giving me such beautiful art work that gives me confidence to show off!

Anthony is PHENOMENAL. He has done 3 tattoos for me and I will continue to use him for my future tattoos. He takes my ideas and brings them to life more perfect than I could imagine. The quality is great and my color still looks new For the tattoos I’ve had for years. The facility is additionally great and all the artists make it a place you enjoy visiting. They’re all friendly and always a good time to be around. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a facility/artist.

I would recommend following @drewstattos and when you see a new pic that you like for him up for an appointment with the art work or the artwork plus your own style.
