I went to get a gel polish change. There were 2 woman in their servicing clients and truthfully the wait time was not bad at all for a walk-in. My mom always used to go there, so I thought I’d stop by while I was in town. The woman who did my manicure was new to me, however very nice and respectful, it just seemed like she was kind of in a rush to return to the woman’s pedicure she was doing, prior to me. I was satisfied with the color and the outcome the day of, however the following few days, once the polish set, I noticed the polish was lumpy, even though she filed and buffed my nails. Also, my nails began chipping and breaking — my nails rarely tear or break however this time they did, which was very disappointing and it’s disappointing that my gel polish is chipping away 4 days after my appointment.

First visit to Queen nail salon and I will be returning. Welcomed as I walked in as well as offered a water to drink. I needed a refill on nails that I didn’t care for which were done at a different salon so discussed what needed to be done and how much it would cost before even writing my name down. Jen worked on me and took her time to make sure I liked what she was doing and how i liked the shape. She was super sweet and talked with me which made me feel comfortable. Another lady that worked there was telling jen about her memorial day and included me in the convo which i really liked because they were speaking their language and let me in on what they were talking about.

Only been here 3 times and the first two visits were incredible!! I never do fake nails but I was in a wedding so I figured why not? They were perfect and lasted almost a month before I needed them done again! The second time was for mother’s day…same experience, nails were beautiful & lasted again almost a month. The last time I went was on June 20th (the day before my BIRTHDAY!) but this time a guy did them. I always get the chrome wrap polish which is an extra $13!! I wanted a pearl color (my birthstone) and for some reason my nails came out with a lime green tint. I let him know I was unhappy so he did it over but it was still the same result, but at this point I did not want to be “that complaining customer” so I paid & left. I went to Ocean City Maryland for my birthday weekend and that very next day ON MY BIRTHDAY both of my thumb nails broke off, my one pinky was a lime green color & at that point my weekend was ruined!! I paid $40 for nails that broke the very next day & I was 2 1/2 hours away and couldn’t do anything about it! I was devastated and unfortunately will NOT be returning to this nail salon!
