Aye this place is kinda awful. The braiding is too tight and not even done properly. There was a lot of my real hair sticking out and they acted as if it was flyaways an cut my real hair. And this was after I brought it to their attention. Older lady tried to convince me that braiding the hair half way down b4 dipping them was the way how its done. I had to correct her an really push the issue of telling her it looks bad and that’s not how it’s done. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not all Africans are African braiders. P.S. their hygiene was really bad for 9am…. breath and body. Good luck to anyone getting braids here

Went there a couple weeks ago. Don’t get me wrong my hair was beautiful. I have been there twice over almost 10 years. The only thing I did not like about both of my experiences is, when I told the lady I didn’t have all the money let me go to the bank and come back. She did not want to let me leave the building. She tried to get me to let her keep my hair there then tried to get me to leave a $20 deposit to assure that I would come back. Sadly that was my last time going there. I don’t like the vibe of feeling like I’m being held hostage. Other than that they do do good work.

Got there at 3:30 with a appointment. Started at 4:00 left at 11. She was kind enough to wash my hair and blow dry before braiding. I let her know my hair is sensitive so she didn’t braid it too tonight. Everything was well until another lady begin helping her and didn’t understand how not to braid extra tight. I love my braids but they are pretty tight. The place was very clean and nice with many many braiders. If coming not during busy hours you should be finished quick.

I have always had a pleasant experience when I come here. Amy is nice she will call you a few times to make sure your coming but don’t be offended. I been coming off and on for a few years. They do great work…normally two braiders but depends on if their crowded. But they try to get you out as fast as possible. Great work here!

The lady charged me 220 saying she giving me a day deal.When it wasn’t she gave me short box braids when I said I wanted them long then told me it be a extra 40 dollars if I wanted that then she didn’t curl them right just done got there a waste of money and time I hate the way my hair look I will never go back to them ever!!!!!
