I’ve come to this nail shop for over a year now consistently. My most recent visit was very disappointing! Gel pedicure was my service. You choose ‘gel’ at an extra fee for a more consistent, better looking polish application. The lady that does pedicures is always very consistent about the cleaning, massage etc! Today, she started my pedicure and the gentleman (that owns the shop), finished my service (the polish portion). Someone else came in for a pedicure, and I’m not sure why he didn’t just work on him… But for whatever reason she left me before the polish portion was done.

Critical: ProfessionalismI thought they were nice people because my mom use to come here for over 10 years. However, I see why she has stop going. Things have changed and they have gotten very money hungry.I did not like my nails because the shape was not what I asked for and all my nails had bubbles in them from the cheap clear polish. So, I asked Lee can I get them redone. She got upset and yelled at me in front of the 3 customers that were in there. She was very rude saying “I spent a whole hour on your nails. I am not redoing them. You will have to pay an additional $25.” (I had already paid $45+ for the nails). It was very embarrassing and I don’t like how she tried to make me look. I do not appreciate the way she spoke to me. So I asked for a refund and they only gave me half of my money back. All in all, they are rude and they can not do nails very nice. I went on a Sunday to get SNS and my nails started chipping within three days. I felt rushed because they were getting busy and she was flying through the process. Some of nails were not filed properly, I have dips in my actual nails now, and the top coat was not applied properly, there are areas on my nails where you can see the smudged top coat. Can’t say I’ll be returning to QV Nails.
