Puzzle Pieces is a new children’s salon that opened in Nov 2021! Jennifer’s mission is to change the way all children experience haircuts! Here at Puzzle Pieces, children always come FIRST. Jen provides not only haircuts but an experience! Puzzle Pieces is clean, judgement free, sensory focused boutique children’s hair studio providing services to ALL children and provides extra love & support for the ones that need it. Jennifer is Autism & Special Needs certified. There are many distractions to help during the haircut! There are toys, complementary snacks and your child can even pick out their favorite show or movie on Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, or YouTube to watch during their cut!

Just got my son’s first haircut! Jen was absolutely amazing! My son is diagnosed with autism and hates his head being touched, he felt extremely comfortable with the atmosphere and Jen was extremely patient with him. Our local community is beyond lucky to have someone like Jen offering children’s hair cuts! Past experiences at kid’s hair salons always felt chaotic and impersonal. Puzzle pieces is a calm, bright and welcoming atmosphere for children to visit and actually look forward to going back. It has been a little over a year since Jacob had his first hair cut with Jennifer. It was such an amazing experience since the beginning because he had always cried as soon as he walked in to any other hair salons. But she was very sweet and welcoming. Making him feel so special, comfortable, taking to him, listening to him. She always takes her time with him. My daughter has sensory processing disorder, and haircuts used to be traumatic for her. Jen has changed that for my daughter. Being a mom of a child that has special needs I would often feel judged even at a kids salon. I never have felt judged when my daughter sits in Jen’s chair. Jen takes her time so that your child feels comfortable the entire process. My daughter even let her do a temporary color strip the last time we were there.
