The massage was good However, throughout the one hour massage, people would walk in the front door, and no one was at the reception, they kept telling “hello, anyone here”. Then people yelling in Chinese in the hallway. And ok, I can overlook these things, but when I went to pay, at the end of the massage, it was $60. I gave the lady who massaged me $100, and told her to keep $10 for tip. She was like “only $10? I’m hurting”, etc. Like really? I’m giving you a 17% tip, and you’re complaining? That’s extremely rude, especially because I was really nice with her, I was at the end of a relaxing massage, I was in a good mood, then she had to completely ruin the experience. Made me feel so bad and confused, that’s very unusual. Someone should let their employees know that when they receive a decent tip, they should just say thank you, and move on, not haggle over a bigger tip. This is not a restaurant where the servers’ main income is the tips, a 17% tip is exactly right.

I called in advance asking for a neck and shoulder massage. She said they offered a 30 minute back massage which includes the neck and shoulder. Asked if I can get a longer one and she said it is not recommended as I can get injured having a longer massage of my neck and shoulders. Excellent service and I am glad they advise customers of the risks in doing certain massages.

They’re my place I go to in Marina. They’re affordable, they do fabulous work with finding problem areas, they’re almost always open, and you can get an appointment with them like almost at the drop of a hat. They’re the best.

BEWARE!!! I went in for a foot massage. I told the gentleman that he could not touch my ankles as I have bone bruises that have not healed. Then he started massaging my ankles firmly and I had to scream in pain and stop him. Towards the end he started pounding on the bottom of my feet which radiated all the way up to my hips. I am older and at my age most people have either had knee replacement or hip replacement. There was no concern on his part for anything that I had had medically done. I called the store to try to talk to the receptionist and explain that some training was definitely in order. When I finished I asked if they understood what I said and he said not really in his very broken English. That is why I am writing this so that people will be aware!

First thing in my massage she push so hard on my right side that my rib popped. This made the rest of my massage anything but relaxing due to the pain I was experiencing. I then was trying to tell her that I have an injury on my left foot so please just don’t touch it. It took a good 5 minutes to get that point across. I had this done Sunday afternoon, it’s now Tuesday night and I am still in pain from that popped rib.Once I was turned over I was able to relax a bit, that is until the guy next to me started snoring like a pig. At least I know he had a good massage.The ppl e friendly and the price was reasonable.
