Unlike some salons I called the woman who answered genuinely cared about the wedding and sounded excited for us. We had our meeting with the owner Vicki and the make-up artist Randi. They were fun, professional and let us know all the pricing right up front. She helped us with time management and even came in on a Sunday morning to practice the brides hair so it would look beautiful for her shower. The day of the wedding we got there to fruit, bagels and mimosa’s. The speakers had on great wedding music like “going to the Chapel” and they made sure we were completely satisfied and all felt comfortable with our makeup and hair. Our makeup and hair completely lasted the entire night!!! It was so windy and it was amazing!!! The best experience ever!!!! I called a few months back for a consultation because my sister was getting married at the Villa Bianca in Seymour. Unlike some salons I called the woman who answered genuinely cared about the wedding and sounded excited for us. We had our meeting with the owner Vicki and the make-up artist Randi. I had an awful haircut someplace else and went to Vicky at Pure Platinum to correct it and she did an excellent job fixing the shape and cut of my hair. Id recommend this place to anyone who is serious about their hair. Detail orientated Vicky was able to show me where and why my previous cut was wrong. The salon is clean and accommodating and the staff is extremely helpful and polite. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After years of going to a private hairdresser that changed locations, we decided to try our neighborhood salon. What an amazing experience! The salon is beautiful, staff are considerate and courteous, they keep up their education with all the new styles and cuts (including the curly cut). They really listen to what the client wants and meets if not surpasses their expectations. My girls had special colors and cuts for their Sweet 16~ we were not disappointed! Kaylee and Kristina were amazing~ so appreciative of this hidden treasure.

I am from Florida and wanted a haircut. I called the day before for an appointment. The woman who arranged my appointment was very accommodating and arranged a convenient time for me. The overall look of the salon is very clean and neat. Eric was friendly and professional. The shampoo and rinse was a relaxing massage. Eric took his time with the haircut. I didn’t feel like i was in a production line as I have in other salons. Overall experience was pleasant.

Amanda is amazing! She did the hair and makeup for my wedding on 8/24. It came out perfect, exactly how I wanted. Amanda also did the best balayage. She’s the best, I would definitely recommend Pure Platinum hair salon in Oxford!!

My boyfriend went in for a haircut a couple weeks ago, usually sees Vicki who does a wonderful job, but this time he saw a male hairdresser. When he came back from the appointment it was obvious that this was not the typical pure platinum experience. This guy didn’t listen to what my boyfriend wanted at all (just did whatever he felt was best) and clearly didn’t use clippers on the back so now he has weird length and no clean lines. Thank god his hair grows quickly because this haircut is all over the place. Pure platinum is a great salon, but we will be requesting to NEVER have this person do my boyfriend’s hair again.
