Critical: ProfessionalismI can not put into words how disappointed I am in Pure Med Spa. It’s been absolutely awful since the new change in ownership. I have a family member who worked there. So I got a “discount” which I told after all these troubles it’s caused that I could care less about a discount I am/was 100% capable of paying for the full appointment. Because I got this “discount” they saw it was fine to treat me with less respect than a normal client. I schedule all my appointments for the entire year every year, it’s easier for me AND them.Due to certain circumstances I had to leave my old workplace, and start at a new one with only a week notice. Because I was switching workplaces, I was over working to fit my own clientele in. I do not believe canceling any appointments that are scheduled a year in advanced are reasonable, but with my circumstances I had to. I could not fit In two 10 minute brow waxes into my tight schedule for those months. I am not giving myself a excuse, I would have willingly payed for the appointments in full or a cancellation fee, whatever their rules are but I was never given the option. After that, every appointment I had they asked me to move my appointment time, which is acceptable once or twice AND if it’s only a 10-30 minute difference, but this was a 1 to almost 3 hour difference. After the second time of her asking to move my appointment (knowing I am NOT flexible) I no longer responded. I was upset and frustrated that what once to be a professional business has became so unbelievably careless. It’s SO unprofessional to continuously need to move anyones appointments. After me not responding to the message she chose to move my appointment without consent. At that point I said I could not make it because she moved my appointment to a time I literally could not make. Then she proceeds to tell me that all my reoccurring appointments will be canceled due to “multiple” cancellations. She ended up “letting” me keep my appointments from then on. Recently the family member left that place of work. I planned on continuing to get my services done I scheduled the whole year for a reason. Only to find the day before my appointment was suppose to be they once again canceled all my appointments without confirmation or consent. I called to speak to a manager I was told she could call me back. It’s been over 24hrs and no ones reached out. So either the manager received no word I needed to speak with her, or she’s just as careless as the receptionist I have dealt with and no longer deserves my business. She is very educated and communicated care well. I did not feel rushed and that she truly cared about my skin needs. The day of my appointment was no different…well actually exceeded my expectations! Rebekah suggested a less harsh peel for my face with a facial, which ended up being less than I expected to pay. This showed me again she truly cared about my needs and not just trying to pitch me a big sell like other places tend to do. I’m super happy with my decision to go here. I suffer from acne and scaring and my face feels so much smoother even after a week out! I feel like I have gained my confidence again!The staff is also friendly and helpful.
