I have been going to Pure Hair studio since i moved to OKI 6 years ago! I ❤️❤️❤️ them and get so many compliments on my color and cut. Everyone there is wonderful and I have never been disappointed. I have also referred friends who have always been very happy…I can not begin to say enough kind words. When I moved here from MD, one of my major concerns was finding a salon that I felt comfortable with. I have had Kirby as my hairdresser the whole time. She is very punctual and never makes me feel rushed. She is very professional and even though I have been going to her for 6 years, we always have a short consult to make sure that I am happy with this and that. She is the best and all of her staff are very welcoming and I am very pleased every visit : ) Thank you to all at Pure

I recently (about a year ago) started going to Pure Hair Studio after moving back home to Southport. I have had at least 10 exceptional experiences with the staff at Pure. Donna at the front desk is always respectful, courteous, and professional. Kirby has an amazing talent with hair and is always very eager to effectuate my wishes by using her creativity. The whole staff is customer service driven and strives to make sure every client is happy when they leave the studio. Additionally, everyone is knowledgeable with respect to the quality products they offer for purchase. I highly recommend a visit to Pure Hair Studio. FIVE STARS from this not so easy to please gal!

Pure is so fantastic. The atmosphere is incredible, the products they use are the best, and the incredible knowledge and passion for hair shines here. After moving away I grew my hair out waiting to come back and visit Kirby for a haircut. She nailed it! They truly get to know you and your hair.

I personally have been a client for over five years, the staff are always consistently true professionals in their industry! Cut, color, keratin treatments, and waxing are my usual services. The team at Pure always knocks it out of the park! The salon atmosphere along with current trends in this industry are always up to date. My hair has continued to be the healthiest while being a client with Pure, no harsh products are used here. This is a huge plus for me personally. All the staff at Pure are professional, diligent, and educated in their craft! AMAZING!! Kirby’s incredible artist talent took my hair from over processed and balayage gone wrong to absolutely amazing. My coworkers couldn’t believe the transformation from the terrible cut and color that was created elsewhere by another stylist on Saturday to my hair today! She is truly top notch and professional. Not only did she transform my mess but educated me on the proper products to use to repair the damage that was done! Thanks

Kirby always knows how to make my hair look incredible! With the humidity, I fight the frizz which a keratin treatment handles for months. I’ve been growing out my gray and she uses glazes to blend the color without a demarcation line. And always the perfect cut to manage thick, coarse hair.

Pure Hair Studio is the best place to get hair cut colored anything as far as hair goes they can do it. The staff is very professional and always very pleasant.. the environment is very relaxing you can enjoy a glass of wine, beer,coffee etc while you’re getting your hair done.. by far the best hair studio I’ve ever been to.

I originally went to Pure for a consultation regarding ‘fixing’ my hair color. I had previously gone to a salon in Wilmington and was very unhappy with the blondish color that was accomplished via ammonia-containing hair dye. I ended up seeing Kirby, and am so happy I did. She explained what I/we needed to do to ‘fix’ my hair and helped me feel confident about the process. If not for her, I would never have changed up my style and gone bright copper/red. Kirby is extremely talented and experienced and has very good taste. Also, she is knowledgable about retro hairstyles if that is something you are interested in. Everyone else who works there is great, too. Although I moved away, I will never go back to a salon that uses ammonia…only certified ‘Organic Color Systems’ salons from now on. Last but not least, Organic Color Systems is certified cruelty free by PETA, which is definitely important to me and maybe important to you, too.
