I have been going to Sheila since she started there several years ago. I’m a hairdresser too so I’m picky. Sheila is an excellent example of what a professional hairdresser should be. I love my hair every time I go. Everyone in that at shop is very friendly as well as professional. It’s a class A salon and I would recommend it to everyone. From what I’ve seen the owner Amy is a top notch business woman and a great hairdresser as well. If I wasn’t retired after 53 years in the business I would ask for a job. I have never written a review for any salon but this one deserves to have my mention.

My favorite day of the month is the day I get my hair done at Aveda Pure Essence! I’ve been coming here for years, and I think the world of each one of the stylists here. They’re highly trained professionals, very kind and caring. They go above and beyond to take good care of me and make me feel welcome. My husband even enjoys coming in to get his hair cut on Saturday mornings . Thank you, Amy, for giving your best ALL THE TIME! Thank you, Donita for all you do for this crazy hair of mine! Rude unprofessional owner named Amy sent me a text that Anjiey stylist no longer there. When I tried to get another appointment she turned nasty and said everyone is booked up. she punishing me because of Anjiey? I told her I would go to Mark Pardo Aveda in Albuquerque where every day is a great hair day and that they’d be more than glad to take my money. BTW, I always spend more than $200 per visit and tip very well. So yes, if Roswell Aveda don’t want my business I can always run up to Albuquerque to Mark Pardo where they’re always professional and accommodating. I DO NOT recommend this salon for it’s nasty owner and I hear they have zero master stylists, I believe Anjiey was the only master stylist there. They probably ran her off too because she was good and made the rest look bad. BAD SALON!

They did not do what I asked, took a day or 2 to get back with me, and not professional at all. Amy and the staff at Aveda are amazing and ALWAYS friendly, professional, and communicate very well. BEST hair salon in Roswell. I tried 2 other ladies, Clarissa being one of them, and did NOT like them. They did not do what I asked, took a day or 2 to get back with me, and not professional at all. Took me a while find her, but Sarah does an amazing job. She took me from long to short and while I was nervous due to my coarse hair, I came out feeling like a million bucks. I would trust her to do anything with my hair. Plus everyone there is so friendly! You cannot go wrong.

I LOVE this salon! After moving from CO, I was scared to try a new stylist, but now when I go “home” to see my friends, they all want to go to an Aveda salon after seeing my color! Emily made my dishwater blonde hair the best natural shade of blonde I’ve ever had and after 25 years of coloring my hair, that’s saying something! She also has given me one of my favorite hair cuts, as well. I highly recommend Emily and everyone at Pure Essence! This place is a gem! I feel lucky to have such a professional hair studio in Roswell!
