Laser Hair Removal

Lasers have come a long way and Pure Cosmetics keeps up with the latest medical-grade lasers to eliminate unwanted hair, while keeping you as comfortable as possible. Please see below for our frequently answered questions.Am I a good candidate for Laser Hair Removal?We are able to treat every skin type on virtually any surface of the body, as long as the hair is darker in pigment. Unfortunately, those with red, blonde or gray hairs are unable to be treated with laser hair removal due to the follicle having no pigment. We require new patient consultations for every patient to make sure you are not on any medications or do not have a past medical history that is contraindicated for laser treatments.Does it hurt?Our highly-trained, certified laser technicians put the safety and effectiveness of every treatment first and foremost. We try to minimize any discomfort by using technology equipped with cooling tips, ice balls, and a thin layer of gel. Although specific technique may vary from technician to technician, please let your technician know if you are experiencing any discomfort so that they may adjust accordingly.
MRF / SRF Treatments
Microneedling with RF Epidermal Retexturing and S-Wave RF Dermal Skin TighteningWhat is it?The procedure involves penetration of insulated gold microneedles into the dermis to deliver high-tensioned radiofrequency pulses into the targeted tissue. This results in the body’s own production of elastin and collagen fibres, making skin firmer and healther. Our machine combines RF with the microneedling so the RF heat is not on the outside layer of the skin. The energy penetrates much deeper leaving the top layer of the skin cool. Microneedling creates evenly distributed columns for healing in the skin and induces the growth factor to derive the mechanism of natural recovery. The S-wave RF dermal skin tightening has a direct R emission on the targeted tissue by fractional RF thermolysis (thermal damage by segmented RF emission).When will I notice a difference?After a few treatments, you will see a noticeable difference. We recommend 3-5 treatments for most patients, with full results present after 6 months. It helps with wrinkles, crepe skin, skin tightening, rejuvenation, reducing pore size and stretch marks.Why would I choose this treatment versus others that are indicated for similar concerns?The combination of microneedles and RF leads to a more substantial improvement in skin quality and texture. It is also effective in scar treatment such as acne scars, ice pick scars, atrophic scars, and burn and operation scars. Also, you can enjoy benefits like shorter procedure and downtime, it’s non-invasive and a lower risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or scarring.What to expect?Mild redness and swelling may occur a few hours to up to 24 hours after treatment. Massage and excessive sun exposure should be avoided at this time. More aggressive treatments may result in skin flaking as the new skin layer regenerates. Non-comedogenic moisturizers and broad spectrum (UVA and UVB) sunscreens are highly recommended during this recovery phase.

Service is very friendly and super sweet but I feel like by buying Groupon I got scammed. I was sure I am buying session of fat cavitation, however all I receive is some kind of old machine that get water out of your system after liposuction. If anything I have totally opposite result. I had no experience but I did research online before buying Groupon and was very disappointed with what I got.
