I moved to the Plainfield area years ago and have never found a stylist that I have liked until going to Pure Concepts! I have very curly hair and my stylist knew exactly how to cut and style my hair properly. She also used great hair products that have given me the best results I have ever had. The frizz is gone and my curls look so good! I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair as I have in the past few days!

I meant to write this review like a month ago, but I’m just now getting to it. I came here at the beginning of Aug to get my hair lightened. I had a very young inexperienced girl, I won’t say her actual name, but it started with a G. I was at the salon for hours!! Also the damage that she caused my hair is not fixable for leaving bleach in my hair for almost 2+hrs! That’s how long it took her to do my foils! I hate my hair so much now I try to just cover it up. It’s falling out now and breaking off so badly. I wish I could just get the life back into it, but I don’t think it’s possible even. I really liked going to this place in the past, but after this experience I’m so upset.

I’m updating this review from four years back because I’m still a client and have loved every appointment. Cheyenne has taken care of me and I always feel welcomed. I’ve had my hair cut, colored, balayaged, and ombréd, always loving the outcome. I also get my eyebrows waxed and always come out looking great. I get compliments on my hair and brows regularly and I know it’s because of Cheyenne and Pure Concepts.

How lucky was I that when I arrived at the wrong location (there are 2) they pleasantly accommodated me and took care of contacting the other location. Then, I had a wonderful time in this immaculate includes amenities and Aveda experience(s) salon. Gabby and Chloe took care of me. Both ladies were very professional and friendly. I’ve been an Aveda loyalist for about 25 years now and experienced many good to excellent locations around the US. This was the best color and cut ever. So happy! Worth the drive. This is an amazing salon. Customers are pampered with scalp, hand, and neck massages; hot towels under neck during washing and rinsing; and reapplication of makeup wear needed when hair is finished. Needless to say, they are fantastic with color and fixing a bad cut from a previous salon. Price was a little higher than other salons but well worth every penny. Jackie, the owner, worked on my hair. She really knew her job. From what I could see, you can’t go wrong with a stylist here. Very classy place!

I just received the BEST cut and color service from Kallie Ann at Pure Concepts! I was so nervous going to a new stylist, especially after some particularly bad experiences, but I walked out LOVING my hair. From the moment you walk in, to the last snip of the scissors, you’ll feel pampered, relaxed, and confident in your new ‘do. Kallie Ann was so personable, she listened to what I wanted, she gave me great recommendations on what my hair needed, and she did exactly what she said she would. No surprises! The cut and color comes with a relaxing hand/arm massage during your wash out, a scalp massage, and a calming peppermint oil neck massage… are you calling to schedule your appointment yet?
