I started coming to Pua Manu MedSpa back in June 2022. Dr. Chen is also my Ophthalmologist. This was my first time having anything done to my face. Dr. Chen suggested a BBL treatment to take care of small capillaries around my nose, pigment issues. Dr. Chen and her staff at the spa are wonderful, knowledgeable about their services and very welcoming. My skin looks incredible. It’s the best investment I’ve made for myself. I did the ultimate hydro facial with Melika and had a great experience. I had the hydro facial at Massage Envy but at Med Spa, they are able to use medical grade chemicals which were better than the standard chemicals. I highly recommend this facial and this med spa as this was my first time and zero complaints.

I’m getting older and the skin on my face unfortunately started to go downhill once I turned 40. Hormonal acne has been giving me grief and so I started my research online as to what I could do to combat it and bring my skin back to life. I am SO happy I found Pua Manu Medspa. I started with getting a Hyrdroimpact facial and let me tell you, that was life changing! My skin immediately drank in all of the hydrogen water, it brightened my skin, and the acne around my chin even significantly diminished the next day. Thank you to Melika, Dr. Chen, and the rest of the professional and knowledgeable staff for making me feel confident in my own skin again. I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer!

Pua Manu is a very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Staff is always very welcoming. I come to get my monthly facials and Melika is very informative and kind. My skin has really improved from hydrafacial and hydro impact. I’ve never felt more confident. Highly recommend!

I’ve always wanted to get a micro needling treatment but was hesitant about the downtime. The risks of swelling, redness and even peeling so my motivation to get this treatment was pretty low. When I heard about the Scarlet micro needling with radio frequency treatment at Puamanu MedSpa, I decided to look more into it and try it. This particular treatment machine is the only one in Hawaii and because Ive seen Dr. Chen before, I trusted that this treatment would be different. The results were AMAZING! Literally ZERO downtime and within a little over an hour my skin was back to normal. The treatment left my skin feeling more firm and it gave me an immediate glow. I highly recommend trying this Scarlet treatment and also the Puamanu Medspa team. Unlike other Medspas, Puamanu MedSpa and Dr. Chen are very friendly, knowledgeable and non-intimidating. I love that they make me feel like family when I come in to see them! Thank you Dr. Chen!!!

I am not one to leave bad reviews but honestly I have just had such a negative experience and wouldn’t want someone else to go through what I went through. I really don’t have the energy to go into detail and I’m not going to call out names, but just do yourself a favor and really look for an established medspa with an experienced and caring staff before booking.
