Generous with the 1 star because the girl who did my massage, and was also the receptionist, was nice and had a good attitude. I don’t normally write reviews, but I don’t want anyone else to waste this amount of money! Worst massage I ever had and a huge waste of money. The Hot Stone treatment I paid extra for involved her lightly rubbing the stones around a few times during the massage. She was playing some upbeat Hawaiian music which I asked if she could please change to something more relaxing. She wasn’t rude about it but said okay, rummaged around in a drawer and pulled out a cd and stuck it in. This was guitar music, not horrible but not relaxing, I didn’t want to bother asking to change it again. I should have left right then, I knew it was going to be bad, but I’m way too nice and was already naked on the table. I felt like I was being massaged by a noodle. First time I wished for a massage to just be over! I was so sad when she did my right foot and seemed to forgot my left. During my massage the phone kept ringing but the receptionist was massaging me so the very loud answering machine got it for her. This “Spa” has no facilities to change or relax. The shower smelled bad, water was lukewarm. I really should have spoke up and not just paid the $230! Omg, what a waste! If you are looking for a real spa treatment the Waipoli resort down the street is just a few $ more but with excellent practitioners and very nice facilities.

I had a deep tissue massage with Sun the day before my marathon in Smith’s Tropical Paradise Gardens. It was my best marathon with a painless 26.2 miles. I wish that I could have many more massages by Sun!
