Customer service is what the downfall here I was a local that came here very often! The massages were great and for an affordable however overtime they stopped servicing locals! You can no longer walk in this establishment as a customer and even booking is a HARD AND HORRIBLE time with no solid promises. Newcomers in Brooklyn now have taken up slots to the point where this place booked until 8pm. Will not be using this business anymore because it’s not geared toward the working class locals. I hope that they fix what once was an amazing establishment.

First time was good enough to come back today. Well, this time it was terrible. Called ahead to set an appointment for a couples massage arrived, had to wait 15 mins just to be told they had single rooms ready. Terrible service, given a $55 gift certificate which wouldn’t even cover anything. Walked out more tense and stressed than I arrived. Won’t be back.

Positive: Communication, ProfessionalismThis is by far my favorite spa to get a massage! I have been coming to Prospect Garden Spa for years now, and actually haven’t gone to another place since. Both the Vanderbilt and Flatbush location are spot on but I’ve been coming to the (more recently opened) Flatbush location since it’s opening and can vouch for both! The person who picks up is always pretty helpful to me and helps me lock in an appointment. Frank is the masseuse I have been going to since I first started here and WHEW! If you want your aches and pains massaged out of your body, he is your guy! Frank is truly gifted and is well-versed in massage, acupressure, etc. I have had knee issues for years which triggers quite a bit of back, leg and foot pain but Frank always helps me to recalibrate and heal those pains. I was so moved by the relief I felt during my last massage a day ago that I had to leave a review!I, hands down, highly recommend Prospect Garden Spa! This is by far my favorite spa to get a massage! I have been coming to Prospect Garden Spa for years now, and actually haven’t gone to another place since. Both the Vanderbilt and Flatbush location are spot on but I’ve been coming to the (more recently opened) Flatbush location since it’s opening and can vouch for both! I book this place online for my hubby birthday when I got there was skeptical at first wasn’t shore I were at the right place. it was just us there. by the time we were ready to begin our session more people were coming in felt more at easy. the staff was very pleasant believe me the massage was amazing felt so relax it was the best I had strongly recommend for couples looking for that intimate private relaxation. thanks again guys.

I have been going to this place since they carried the name of Summer Day Spa. Back then, the place was clean, the management was nice and the massage service was excellent. Since the reopening during COVID, they change the name and the service team. When I went on my first visit since COVID, they claimed they change mgmt and the team accordingly but unfortunately this change did not not improve their service. I arrived for my Saturday scheduled appt and was not greeted on arrival so I said hello, my name and my appt time at the desk. I was asked to have a seat and use the restroom which I declined. 10 mins later and they are still not ready. Eventually I am ushered to a room and I can tell it’s not clean. There are 2 towels hanging on hooks that look used. The sheet used to cover me during the massage was not clean either. They use to have a container under the bed to store your handbag and shoes which was no longer there. I said my prayers as I laid half naked on the table waiting for the massage. During the massage she placed the same dirty towel on my head which I removed once I realized how gross it really was. She also was using this same towel over my eyes for the upper body massage. I was waiting for her to ask if I wanted the massage harder/softer, but that never happened. Instead, she and another employee were talking in their native language for like 20 mins during the massage. Not only is this rude but very annoying. I came here to relax, why are they talking so loudly during the session? There is also an annoying running water sound outside the room that I believe suppose to be a fountain but sounds like a running toilet . The other annoying sound is the loud chimes and slamming of the entry door. They also kept having the entry/door curtain open during my massage which meant anyone walking by in the hallway can see me on the table. I had to ask her twice to please close the curtain during my session.

We did NOT expect to walk into this place and get the massage we got. Top 3 best massages I’ve ever gotten, hands down!! The hot stones, the elbows – everything was perfect. Will definitely incorporate this place into our bi-weekly self care routine!
