Nikki is your person if you have chronic muscle problems. She does more than typical massage, using manipulation, scraping and other techniques to relieve the tension in the muscles and fascia accumulated over years. Her methods are often a little painful (she is careful not to exceed your tolerance), but the release afterwards is so worth it. I’ve never had anyone focus on my issue areas for all of a 90 minute session before and it is really making a difference. She has helped me for what started as piriformis syndrome after a fall 10 years ago, and morphed into muscles so tight in my legs, spine and shoulders that my body became lopsided. Little by little she is releasing this accumulated tension so that my legs are longer, and both my hips and spine are straighter. I am feeling and sleeping better. Her work has had more impact than years of standard massage, chiropractic therapy, acupuncture, physical therapy and multiple core strengthening exercises. Her recommendation for weekly treatment for 1 – 2 months in was spot on, and we are now able to reduce frequency as my body adjust to its new, much more comfortable normal.
