Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueAlways a great experience when I walk in this place. I’ve been going since I was 5 years old, and this place has never let me down! All of the cosmetologist are very professional, super friendly, and ALWAYS wear a smile on their faces! The moment you step through the doors, you are greeted by multiple voices saying “Hello!” And someone is there ready to help. My last visit was with Kristy, which was my first time with her! She was very nice and listened to everything I had to say. Very happy with the outcome, and not mention her awesome hair style that she wears herself!Thanks ladies for always being so kind to me! Always a great experience when I walk in this place. I’ve been going since I was 5 years old, and this place has never let me down! All of the cosmetologist are very professional, super friendly, and ALWAYS wear a smile on their faces! The moment you step through the doors, you are greeted by multiple voices saying “Hello!” And someone is there ready to help. My last visit was with Kristy, which was my first time with her! Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueI am not one to typically leave a review. That changed today. My experience here was so awful that I was sent into an immediate panic attack and have spent the entire day in tears.I am unaware of the stylists name because she spoke so low that she couldn’t be heard. I showed the stylist a picture of what I wanted. I clearly stated that I wanted the bulk taken from the back and sides while maintaining the length.The stylist proceeded to ignore the picture shown and disregard my requests completely.Instead, she cut my hair so short my scalp can be seen, It will be months before it grows out enough to begin reshaping it into a somewhat presentable style.I have never in my life felt as ugly as I do right now.The managers lack of any sympathy is another matter altogether. When showed the picture and told the same description I gave their employee, the manager commented that that is not what I got, then tried to correct herself by saying I said something I did not say.In the service industry, you exist by providing a service. If the stylist did not understand, it was their job to ask questions and ensure that they did. If they did not have the required skill to do what was being asked of them, then it was their job to get someone who does.As for the manager, their job is to manage the people working in their salon (even if they are independent contractors). The salon will be damaged by negative reviews and word of mouth more so than the stylist. After the manager refused to even attempt to resolve the issue, the salon is deserving of any negative feedback it receives.My advice to you is to never step foot in this poor excuse of a salon and go somewhere else where they have actual skilled stylist that are capable of basic communication skills. There are plenty of stylists that will be happy to put forth a bit of effort on your behalf. That is definitely not the case here.What an awful way to begin a new year. On a positive note, my hair will eventually grow back. Until then, at least the weather is cool enough to hide their work under a hat.I am not one to typically leave a review. That changed today. Critical: Professionalism, QualityDo not go to the 2nd chair to the left, a short heavier set lady with curly hair. Came in for a simple haircut, she started cutting my beard when I didn’t even ask for it. Said the hair on my neck bugged her. Then also 1 side of my hair is double the length of the other. 2nd time this lady has destroyed a simple cut. Do not go to the 2nd chair to the left, a short heavier set lady with curly hair. Came in for a simple haircut, she started cutting my beard when I didn’t even ask for it.
