I am new to town and went in today for a manicure and gel polish manicure. Peter started with the pedicure which wasn’t bad at all, when we started with the manicure it seemed like there was some miscommunication. I wanted just gel on my natural nails and he thought I wanted gel acrylics, or something of that nature. He kept saying how those would hold up longer and I should try what he was recommending, so I did. He was super aggressive with the file and dremel, causing me to bleed and holding it in one spot too long which is super painful. Whenever I would flinch or tell him that he was hurting me his response was just “I never hurt a woman unless she asks for it.” This is where my experience just got super awkward, I kind of stopped talking and just sucked it up and let him finish so that I could leave. He put gel polish on top of the nails but did a really poor job, there is tons of pooling by the cuticles and none of my nails are even close or the same shape. I will not be going back to him to have them fixed as he cut me multiple times and completely disregarded my many attempts at voicing physical pain. Pretty much all of my cuticles were cut, multiple of them so bad they were bleeding WHILE he was doing the manicure. He even made a comment at one point about how “that one left a mark.”

I don’t recommend pro nails. I have had nails before that lasted longer than two weeks and starting to lift. He also didn’t make sure they were even. I will drive two hours to go to the guy that I deal with. There they at least last a month or longer before I need them redone. The person that I go to even makes them all even and don’t push you into anything you don’t want.

Peter was very nice and available in short notice. I got a full set of acrylics with shellac for a fair price! I would definitely recommend Pro Nails for the Havre community and visitors.

he did a great job when i went there, i got a refill and he said the lady who did mine did terrible and it could’ve had me get nail fungus. He fixed them and they looked beautiful not cuts or anything and no over priced.

Awful. He completely messed up my nails. Then had the balls to charge me $15 more for a fill then what he signs says. I had coffin shaped nails I left with stubby rounded blobs that are thick as hell. My right hand is about 1/4in shorter than my left. They are all lumpy and unshaped. I will not go back to this place nor refer anyone to them!
