I got a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish with Nancy yesterday. I am so disappointed. I have been getting my nails done for a long time at different salons. I have never had an allergic reaction until I came here. Last night my cuticles started to itch really bad. I didn’t think much of it because I’ve never had a reaction to the products used on me when getting this type of full set. This morning I woke up at 5am because my cuticles were hurting and itching so much. I quickly realized this was due to either the glue used to adhere the tips or the primer/ monomer used during my service. I removed this set because my cuticles are swollen and I was afraid it would only get worse. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. It looks pretty but it’s a total chop shop. They reused a nail file, the drill tips were covered in dust from uses on previous clients, and my nail girl couldn’t even free hand a French tip. In these pictures you can see the swelling of my cuticle and the horrible paint job I received. I’ve made an Instagram post about my service here and I hope everyone I know steers clear of this place. I wish I could get my $75 dollars back. (Note, Nancy did not have to cut my cuticles because I came in with them prepped, I am so thankful I did that myself because this reaction to the products could have been much worse)

I go here for Jenni SHE is amazing and a great artist. She was out of town. I went to this salon again thinking I’d get the same quality (especially because this place charges extra for “luxury”) I got Liz….DONT GO TO LIZ! She was very rude, rough, and charged extra for a French tip design she couldn’t even do that right. $70 for at least 4 of my nails not even in the line. My fingers are SO cut up and sore this morning. If Jenni didn’t work there….I’d no longer go here. And it a shame these places feel comfortable charging as much as they do for 50% effort in some of their “nail artists”.

I have been getting my nails done every 4 weeks for 4 years. I have been to a lot of nail salons and had lots of nail techs work on my nails, so believe me when I say I love Prive! The salon is clean, the service is great, and the place is beautifully decorated. Since going to prive I have had a few nail tech but none of them are as good as Angie. She is a miracle worker with nails, she shapes them perfectly and does the most beautiful designs every time.

Me, my mom, my aunt, and cousin all went to get a pedicure a week ago and it was a horrible experience to say the least. The techs who did our toes were not very nice and rolling their eyes at each other when we would say something to them. My moms tech was very rough with her toes and hurt her pretty bad. I paid $100 for my service and I came away with gel polish all over my skin and my cuticles were flooded with polish. My mom paid $60 and her color has faded off completely. I’ve never seen a worse pedicure in my life. I am beyond disappointed and I will never go back to this salon. It’s was absurd how expensive it was for what we got. We are all pretty upset about it.

I paid $15 extra for this color. This powder was already chipping after 2 days and showing the black gel polish underneath. This is what my nails look like after one week.

I received the services for the spa pedicure option, and absolutely loved my experience! Tiffany did a great job, and was very professional. The salon was very clean, and I appreciated the care that each employee put into making myself and my friends feel pampered. The pedicure chairs were great, and had a massage option while you soak and get your nails done. All around, I was very pleased with my experience!

This was, by far, the worst nail salon experience I’ve had. It’s nice inside, but that’s where the good stops. I got a dip powder manicure with tips and a pedicure as a treat before leaving out of town for a wedding. My bright pink gel pedicure turned a disgusting fungus-yellow color within 2 days. I’ve had many gel pedis and never had this happen before! It’s so gross and embarrassing to be barefoot. My dip manicure, which was advertised as UV-light free, still used a UV light to cure the top coat and was chipping/lifting within a week. There was also a hair stuck in one of the nails and the finish overall was pretty uneven and wonky. The manicurist station was dirty and the tools didn’t seem very clean/sanitary (like dipping everyone’s fingers in the same powder container…). Needless to say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience and I won’t be going back to this salon.
