I haven’t had my hair cut in years and I was very nervous about getting one because I didn’t want to lose my length. Amanda was absolutely amazing!! She did exactly what I asked for and kept my length while making my hair look so much healthier! She was so sweet and I will definitely be making this salon my go to place to get my hair done. This is one of the cleanest and beautiful places I’ve gotten my hair done and usually has really accommodating service. I love coming here for my haircuts. So I came to get a balayage and I showed several pictures and described what a did and did not want. My hair is a short medium length. I scheduled it online but just in case I came in person on the same day just to see if they had availability. The master stylist Alex was very nice and was going to leave early but she decided to do my hair which was amazing, but she obviously rushed and didn’t do a very good job and instead went the highlight route. My hair ended up being too light at first so she took the time to make it darker which was nice that she “fixed” it. But my hair didn’t look like a balayage and instead was very streaky, and not the color I was looking for. I also wanted my bangs to be a tad lighter about the same as my balayage and I wanted it to be a subtle blend in but instead I turned out looking like a skunk, which luckily she made a little darker. In the end it was not what I wanted at all. And I feel like I got scammed. I payed $250, and everyone I talk to say I over payed and it should have been $80-130, it was almost as if she made me pay for the “fixing” If she couldn’t do the job right and to how I wanted it instead of rushing to get out she shouldn’t have taken me in that day and should have told me to stick with my date which I now know to never do this again. My hair looked like a solid color compared to what I wanted. In the end I’m never going to come here for hair coloring ever again and do not recommend unless you are EXTREMELY Firm with them about what you want and ask for your price before hand. Because this was outrageous.

My first appointment with Emily was because I had used a color that turned my hair red – and it wasn’t a good red. Emily expertly toned that down to a far more acceptable color. My next appointment with her, she used a couple of processes and I left with a great color with perfect highlights. Emily is very comfortable to be with and a lovely person. She is easy to talk to and a positive person. Such a sweet soul, and as a bonus, she genuinely cares about her excellent work.

SHAUN DOES AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB! My mom and I had just moved to Texas and were looking for a blonde specialist who wouldn’t damage our precious hair. Sean was amazing. Just one look at my hair and he knew what’s good for me. His idea of how long and what style is good for me was right on, and by the time he was done covering all my gray and making me blonde again, I felt much younger and prettier. I found my stylist and he’s a keeper. I’m looking forward to my next appointment when my hair gets longer and I’ll be ready to get the perfect style.

Overall great experience I have thick curly hair so for my type of hair your best bet is going to book an appointment at prism beauty bar online to get with Jenna or Tonya they are amazing not just curly thick hair but they are by far the best at it They also always stylet at the end and they have many varieties of things to wash your hair with including purple shampoo! Great place to go and I highly recommend this to any person girl or a guy.
